Monty, got my buku in today, thanks for getting it out quickly. what setup would you recommend for the tracks in Vietnam? I had the losi 2 aluminum 2 composite with gold and green springs in this video

I will put this clutch on my Losi with my new Orion 5 port factory team engine, then I will probably order another when I order the x5 from you. BTW the jump where you cross lanes, last weekend on my 7 gallon old 7 port I was able to make it a single twice

Do you think that the x5 with the full monty will be able to make it a single? Today everyone was trying to make it a single and everyone was landing on the up side on the second jump, my first single I landed on the down side the second time I cleared it!

Default Fuel

Monty, have you ever heard of Team Saxo fuel? As I stated before I have been running techlube fuel and the brands here are hard to come by, at least sealed bottles where I feel comfortable it isn't a home brew. About 6 months ago I was at a hobby shop when a guy brought in a car that wouldn't run and the crap in his tank looked like sludge. I didn't say anything at the time with the customer there. The guy said it was the fuel that the hobby shops guy put in the car, and the hobby shop guys denied it strongly. After the guy left he brought back a bottle of fuel that was clearly different, but I have to say that I let the hobby shop break in one of my engines as I was in a hurry breaking in one myself and when I got it back the crap that came from the pipe looked exactly like what was in the guys tank. When I was working in the US a fuel supplier had the mix wrong for a gas station I was managing, and the entire tank sludged up, it ended up costing thousands of dollars to suck the tank and clean it before we could put fresh fuel in it. Needless to say, remembering that and after seeing what I saw 6 months back I try to stay away from fuels that are not sealed. The fuels I can get here in Vietnam easily are

Team Saxo (sealed)
Techlube (sealed)
Sidewinder (not sealed and all nitro contents are pink)

What fuel would you run, clearly the sidewinder is most notable brand but when looking at the sidewinder site I noticed that their fuels were different colors for nitro content, it is also the most expensive at about $35 per gallon where the other two are $25 or so per gallon. On another note my 7 gallon old Orion engine was mainly run on the techlube fuel and with a good tune I have no flame out issues and the last race I used techlube 25% and it ran for 45 minutes in my Nvision engine with no problems

I am doing heat cycles on my new X3L HES tuned and it got a bbi from Houston +1 and I tell you this motor runs super smooth no problems with the bbi and 10 tanks I have ran and I already like it! It runs so good I keep wanting to richen it up but it's out from flush at least a full turn on hsn and just a 1/4 turn out from flush lsn also blowing smoke like a diesel at 220f with a sock on it. Paranoid I guess? Anyway I am ready for this weekend! Thanks Monty!

Monty, I sent you an email the other night on your website about engines, going to order one in a couple of weeks, just wanting your thoughts on the engines. Kinda want a fusion but looking for what ever has the best runtime with a decent tune, not a pro tune but just decent average tune. Also wanting to have it fully set up where I can just drop it on and finish running it in. So I want pipe, another Bu Ku and a clutch bell, so if you can get me a few prices with shipping to Vietnam I would greatly appreciate it.

Now for the blow your mind crap that just happened. I just fired up my B2 for the first time and it was too rich so it died a few times about the third time it died I put on the igniter and it popped off! I am not joking, I did NOT use the bump box, just put the igniter on and it was dead, no sound, not dying, but DEAD. It freaked me out I never seen that crap happen before, so I yelled for my wife and just as she came in it died again and I put the igniter on and it fired right off with my bump box not being used. Have you EVER had that happen to you before? It just totally blew my mind.

You wanna sell that igniter? That would be a lot more convenient than hauling around a bump box.
