The 2096 made a big improvement on my plus 4 over the 2058. The 2058 made a nice improvement over the 9901. Monty have you tried the 41001 header on the 2096 on a plus 4? As always in search of the best setup for my driving style and the 2096 worked magic so far. Just waiting for my Buku komp to show up tomorrow.

The 2096 has a lot more top end then the 2058. The engine just seems to want to climb in RPM further down the straight. The mid range is very smooth almost electric like. The bottom end feels stronger yet smoother and more controllable. I think the initial hit coming off the bottom is a little softer but that gets the buggy rolling so you don't get crazy wheel spin. If you have ever driven an E-buggy think about the amount of torque but without the wheelspin.
As for run time, the 2058 was about 11:30 to empty with fuel left only in the line. The 2096 while I havn't run it down to this point, after a 7 minute run I still had about a half tank left, may be a little more. I was going to try a 10 minute stop in a 20 minute main a few weeks ago but became a head case and pitted at 8 minutes so my pit strategy got all F'ed up
And by the way this is all on a medium sized track with a 185' straight and a few 180's. there is a set of double table tops just after a 180 turn with about 12' of run up. the jumps are 25 to 35 feet from take off from 1 and down side on the 2nd and i can flat land my 8.2 after the 2nd if im not careful. Outside of getting my plus 4 with some Houston love, the 2096 pipe was some of the best $ I spent on r/c in a long time.
