ok as one Loyal HES Customer to another... as of now i would have to say the X7 HES.. its freaking awesome.. 9901 and depending on track either 021 header or the square 05 type header... gonna be running a Roma this weekend.. not HES though... but im sure it will be lots of go for me...

been reading alot about the stock roma but i aint liking the run time!! all say its around 7-8 minutes on truggy!!!! thats not what i want at all.
tell us what you think about the Roma after the weekend and compare it to the X7!!!
have you ran the Monty's P5XLT on truggy?? if you get a chance, try it and you will love it
cheers

does the X7 have a similar low-end response as the P5? I've becomes less happy with the Toro i have, and even though its modded and makes a bit more torque than the stock one, its just not quite what i need on my home track which has a lot of natural elevations changes(built on a hillside) so lots of up hill runs, short run ups to jumps, etc. Dont get me wrong, this thing runs killer, very reliable and is good on dry tracks, but this place has so much grip that it just struggles a little bit in spots

I use 2096, 9853 , 9901 pretty much all the time now
X7 loves all three with 41021
Most torque - 9853ss
Best power balance -9901ss
Great power delivery and mucho top with great runtimes - 2096ss

Ran the Roma this weekend.. and i have to say... its to powerful for me to drive... although i did pretty good with it, i had to focus to much on not spinning the tires with teh finger... and not the greatest on fuel...
prefer the X7 for smoothness and runtimes... but for that 5 minute qual where you want to make the short run up triple or quad for a good spot on the grid... its nice to have.. then swap to the X7 for the main and get a clean start and bring it home...
