TKO bearings...and 7-10 gallons is a dam good lifespan for a race engine, a new rod/bearingsand repinch and you are good to go.....

You can run the rod that comes in the n21 engine #07001 or I think GO rods fit too.

Default Os plugs in novarossi

Here is why os plugs deform novarossi head buttons , the tapered seal area of the os plug is shorter in length than novarossi style which pushes the aluminum seal area down , it will not seal properly now with a long taper plug which will now only touch at the upper part of the tapered seal area which is thick . the lower portion of the tapered seal area is fairly thin on the novarossi engines cause of the way they are shaped and machined , they are designed for a long taper not an OS style short taper

novarossi ,odonnell and werks plugs all work well with novarossi head buttons , they all have different characteristics of how they run but should all work as far as fit

My btt is 2 3/4 out from bottomed on the low speed. The top I'd say is the same as my other carb. That's with a 6 restrictor and 41021 header 2096 pipe. If you run another pipe or bigger restrictor you'll have to turn it out more I'd guess. Maybe start around 3.5 out on the low and where it was on the top with the other carb.

It could also be different from engine to engine, like what Monty experienced so be careful!

Hi, sorry but forgot abaout the Crono post.

All 2032 shoukd be the same hence the EFRA number but somtimes there are differences.
I have both the first gen. 2032 pipe witch is soft, this pipe runs the best but is fragile. I do not think thay make theee anymore.

The pipes are made by Hipex i belive and the pipes you get now is just as strong as the SS pipes from Nova. Actually, Crono had the SS type pipes way before Nova did. I have a brand new old style 2032 :-)))

How the prises are at the moment i do not know, since we stopped selling Crono here in Norway.

No worries, Am. Thanks for the reply

Houston: For the last months I've been using your way of treating engines between race days. Stop the engine, empty the tank and let the front bearing be pointing downwards during storage. Works perfectly . No rust on the bearings.

I've just purchased my first nitro from a local race which came with two Toro Nero engines, one needing a new conrod. Can someone please point me in right direction? I can't seem to find anything googling 'novarossi toro nero'.

Thank you,
Michael.

Default TKO Bearings

Neil,

Can the TKO 7X19X6 front bearing be used in the BTT considering the Nova bearing is 6.3mm wide?
