Hey guys,
I have an FMS that I've babied for a couple of years (had Ray tighten it up last fall). Use it in 1/8th Late Model.
Any ideas on a replacement piston ? (sleeve is ok). part numbers and good prices? Thanks in advance...

unfortunately pistons are not sold as a stand alone item... that being said if you can get someone with a piston from plus 4 you will be fine...

for part numbers talk to Monty he should be able to help you

Oh it was nothing to do with Ray's work. That's perfect. Lets just say I had an 'accident' doing what should be routine maintenance (replacing a rod). Completely gutted. Love this motor....

Oh it was worse than that

I was sitting at my workbench after replacing the rod/clips etc. slotted the piston back into the case and was getting ready to slide the sleeve back in when the piston dropped out, through my legs and onto the floor. I was sitting in one of those rolling desk chairs with five sets of wheels. I pushed myself away from the desk to find it, and the wheels rolled right over the piston (with my fat 220lbs of weight on it)....Pic attached...sob sob

Will this piston work?

That is a sad story. That FMS is a nice engine for sure.

I think I have a brand new piston and sleeve for the FMS so you would need to give some time to check and I would be willing to let it go since I cant run that engine anymore......lemme know

Hello, I have a Mugen Truggy, and let me know which engine do you recommend to buy, the Bonito or Roma?

Thanks. Best Regards.
