hey guys...i have a bonito in my truggy with 2084 pipe and 41021 header. i just got it all recently and only have roughly 3/4 of a gallon through it and tried racing it at a big race this weekend. temping at around 265 and running very well and consistent but just doesn't have the top end power others are getting. can i expect it to come to life soon? i'm afraid to go leaner with only 3/4 of a gallon in it. i broke it in heat cycling method with vp powermaster 30% and added 200cc of castor oil to the gallon.

My Novas love the 9886/41001 combo and scream at 280-285. Have almost 6 gallons on a BTT and it shows no sign of premature wear.

the extra 6% oil is definitely going to dramatically reduce performance.....I wouldnt even try to push the top end till you go back to the regular formula.... All that oil will disrupt combustion and will end up tricking you into running overly lean in order to get it to clear itself out.... I would take it easy on top end running till you use up that fuel with the extra oil... If your trying to push performance all that extra oil will do more harm then good.... Also I Would use a 41001 manifold and a 9886 pipe.... The pipe header you run is too lazy for me on that engine.....

NitroRC.com Custom Fuel Blend Recipe:
According to the figures you just gave us, your current fuel has, 30% nitro content and 9% oil content, leaving 61% methanol.
You have indicated that you wish to increase your oil content by 6% to a new total of 15%
In order to accomplish this you will simply need to add 8.8 ounces of castor/synthetic oil to your 128 ounces of fuel.
When you're done, you should end up with 136.8 ounces (1.07 gallons) of newly blended, custom fuel.
Custom Blend Results
Starting Nitro: 30% - - - - - - - - Ending Nitro: 28.1%
Starting Oil: 9% Add oz Oil: 8.8 Ending Oil: 15%

Hey guys, I'm new to nitro and will be running a Losi buggy this season. I happened to pick up a Beat B4 Plus (I believe it's NVR21B4P, but there's nothing on the box that says that) from my LHS, but I don't know anything about it. I was initially going to pick up a P5, but was told this would give me a smoother powerband, and had a ceramic rear bearing. I can't find much info on this motor, but it looks like there's no ceramic bearing. Does it have a filled crank? Anything else I should know about it?
I'll be starting off with the 9901/41021 combo, and Losi's steel 4 shoe clutch with the standard configuration. I'm coming from electric 1/10 scale, and figured this would give me a pretty linear powerband.
