Sorry for the questions just nobody around here has this system or have seen it. I like the price point as well as the programmer box mostly likely be 8.5 setup.
They are very good, of course there will be some that have issues but that's with every company, no one is perfect. I ran all copperheads without any major issues. My friend runs the vtx10r and is being rock solid and many more I seen. I heard down in bako that's all they run viper and tekin rs's?

After- you can send it in, if out of warranty you would be charged forte parts to fix it. Sounds like you need the 6VSPCAP001 capacitor board. This pieces can be soldered off as one piece and a new one soldered in.

Mxer- our stuff is great for SC. At the SC Nats last weekend we had 2 trucks in the A and we should have one if the rain didn't make the track slick. I have to find the video I heard it was on line.

thanks for getting back to me, after doing some reading. I think I shall be ordering two setups from you guys. I have a quick question between your escs, whats the main difference between Vtx and the Vtx R --I also saw the fan kits not sure if ill need one but do they plug into the esc its self or your reciver. I saw that you have a all black esc when will that be hitting the shelfs and is there a price difference between the orange one.

I personally have never seen one or know anybody, we have a lot of TEKIN, Orion, & MMP are the major ones around my track. I wouldnt mine trying something different then everyone else, I was a Novak guy but idk whats going on there lot of esc and motor failures lately. I really like how compact and the programming card. Reminds me of my Speed Passion I use to run in 1/8

The mmp is a joke in my opinion. I tend to go your route as well. Irony buy overpriced stuff or for the name when there are other companies that candor the same for less. The vtx10r might be your best bet. Im thinking about getting one as soon as I get funds. How are the tracks turn outs down there?

Nikos is the vtx10r capable of running brushed motors?

Has anyone ever fitted a vtx10r in a f1 car???

Ahh cool. Here the 4x4 scene has fallen off faster than Lindsey logan reputation.

You ever travel to central valley north of you? Visalia has like 4 tracks now and Fresno area has another 5

Not yet only been down south. 1/8 buggy has kind of fallen of too it's rare to have any at are track. More then likely I'm going to go the viper route, when they come out with a 1/8 sensored Esc I'll more then likely buy another 4x4

difference between 10 and 10R is motors you can run. 10 is good down to 6.5. 10R is open with 2 pole 540 motors and also supports 2 pole 550 motors. Neither runs brushed, we are brushless only.

Black Edition should be in shops anytime - shipments have been sent out this week.

Check out the video courtesy of Horizon of the Stock A Main from the SC Nats - Royce leads a good part of it before a bobble in the last minute. Our SC10's were set up the same and for some reason that last 180 just didn't like us.

Thanks again to Gary for posting and Vogel (thanks again for sharing the tent) for recording.

Last nights racing we saw a Viper system shut down. The F/R lights were flashing. We temped both the motor and ESC. Both were 140-150. Played with some settings that were in profile 2. This was in a 4wd Losi SC truck. Turned the throttle and brake PMW or whatever down to 4000, start power down to 40%. It was still doing it.

Losi 4wd SC, viper VTX10R/5.0L combo, stock spur, 14t pinion, good batteries, good solder joints, Spektrum radio, Hitech servo (not a Savox).

Just trying to help this guy out so he can make it through the race. It was cutting out at pretty close to the exact same time both in both Qualies, 4:30-5 minutes in to a 6 minute race.

What was the motor over temp set at? Mine did the same until I bumped it up to 220°. Its reading on the interior of the motor and is about 50-60° higher than the external readings I was getting.
