I was running red front and grey rear AE springs too. What do you mean by an offset rim. Like something wider like the JC hazards? I don't think anyone makes a different offset non-hex wheel. Just convert to the hexes, it's way better.
Was hoping to find some rims that didnt involve hexes lol, but if thats the case, i might get some hexes and see how the extra off set will go...

trying to still dial in my truck for my local track. I was wondering how many of you drill the 4th hole in the rear shock tower, similar to cavalieri's setup? Also, if you can provide any little insights on subsequent performance, that would be great.
thanks,

I have drilled the 4th hole in my rear tower, but I have yet to use it on my new SC10FT. I had an old T4 that I converted to an SC10, and I started with the Chad Due setup on that truck, and it was really good. The Chad Due setup uses the 4th hole. I only raced that truck once before getting the FT. Moving the shocks in on the tower makes the suspension more progressive. As the shock is compressed, it gets softer. This allows for more weight transfer.
I was also running AE red's in the front, and grey's in the rear. I have now switched to Losi BB springs, and found that their pink rears are very similar in they're feel to the AE ones (maybe a tad softer then the gray AE springs). I also have installed silver rears on the front, and they feel fairly close to the original AE red springs (they are a bit softer then the AE red's though). I am next going to try the Losi Green front springs on the front, as they are .1 stiffer then the silver's.
Since I'm new to this....do you no longer need this to run the Proline wheels? I see they are discontinued. They still have the rears.
And if you have a 4x4 SC10 or a SC10RS, then you don't need to do any conversion to run 12mm hex wheels... those 2 models come stock with hex hubs. The Factory Team kit however, comes with pin and bearing style wheels. So if you want to run hex wheels on that model you will need to do the conversion on the front and rear in order to run Proline hex wheels. However, there are many companies that make conversion parts (Proline, JConcepts, AE, etc.) so, you don't have to run the Proline conversion kit in order to run Proline wheels necessarily.
Trying to find a good front tire for medium to higher bite on wet/bordering dry (not sloppy wet). The Subcultures definitley work good on back to let you know what does work. I was thinking just going Subcultures on front as well, but I definitley don't want a grabby front end. A slight push aint bad. Thanks!!

Proline does still make an inboard 12mm hub kit: http://prolineracing.com/performance...t-inboard-hub/

Yep, that's what you need. If you go to page #575 of this thread, half way down the page Brent does a good job of listing the part #'s if going the AE/JConcepts route (this is what I would recommend doing).
