FYI: people should use post #s instead of pages. This is page 262 for me. Just about half what there.

don't over torque it the first time out. you dont need to use much torque unlike the standard nuts. otherwise you will have a tough time removing them after the first run. don't ask me how i know,

I'm confused... you only can see 262 pages of this SC10 thread? I've only been a member of RCTech since the end of 2011, and can see 700 pages on this thread. I just figured it would be easier for users to go to a specific page rather then trying to figure out which page a thread would be on. I will make sure to include post #'s from now on if that makes it easier for you guys.

Haha, I'm glad you gave me a heads up. That's totally something I would do to

For the previous poster, it was post 8612. But no worries.....I was able to find it with no problems. He apparently has adjusted his "post per page option" to the max setting.

Forum settings allow you to change how many post per page you can see.

Just buy Subcultures then. You know all those different mounting holes for shocks, camber links, and ect? Those are used to adjust the balance of the truck. The biggest thing when it comes to setup is tires. If Subcultures work best, run Subcultures. If you get something else that doesn't work as well, you could run out of adjustments trying to get enough steering. It is way easier to take steering away.

My experience is exactly the opposite. If you don't put enough torque on them, they fail to seat and you lose a tire.

Suffice to say I have three Jconcepts serrated wheel nuts for my SC10 4x4 because I lost one forever the first time I ran it.

I use CustomWorks 8-32 half height aluminum nylocks on my SC10 2w.

I figured I'd like the JC Serrated nuts because they have the flange so if you have deep well nut drivers they don't fall in. But they were a beast to break loose sometimes and if you don't lock them down they may come loose on there own. I just need to find some non-serrated flanged nylon lock nuts.

I think he meant for you not to throw out your shoulder patting yourself on the back. But I personally know him and it was meant in a funny way, not a jerk comment. I'm an aerospace machinest and I can acknowledge a nice custom piece, and those are really nice. Wish I had time to work on my own projects as well!

I figured it was something like that. I think that is hilarious, I am the type of person to laugh and poke fun at anything. You make a stupid comment, expect to hear from me. It is kinda hard over the internet because it is so easy for someone to misread the intentions of your post. Thanks for the props on the parts. I put alot of time and work into my stuff, and it's nice to post stuff on here and have people intelligent enough to recognize what they are looking at. That is kinda the problem with my stuff, it is so trick and perfect, that if you don't know what it is, you have no idea that I didn't just buy it off the shelf. I think the vast majority of people on here fall into that category. I don't know maybe it is just me, but if I see someone post up their car and it has custom parts that look like they should be there, I give mad props. On the other hand if they make a part and it is held on with wood screws and tape, I might be inclined to poke fun.

Wow, might need double surgery on that one!
