Correct.

The stock roll pins can bend. These are easier to get on and off too.
FT axle pins.

Just some fore warning, mine did not want to stay in when I had the wheel off. I lost a couple due to this. What I ended up doing was putting some blue loc-tite on the pin and then sliding it in. After the loc-tite set up it was perfect. I could still take it out easily if I wanted to, but it would not fall out just sitting there.

Hi All

I just have a question with wiring up my SC700-BL ESC , my Spektrum SC300 RX and my NiCD reciever battery.

Now I know when running an external UBEC you disable (either cut or remove) the Red (power) cable from ESC to RX.

My question is... is it the same when using a seperate RX battery? Do I still disconnect the red cable?

Never used an RX battery before.

We're using these pins with the hex adapters. If your using pin style wheels just a touch of silicone rtv works well too.

Anyone have any ideas for outdoor setups? Ive only raced indoor clay but theres a big outdoor race this weekend that I'm going to and have no idea where to start. Shock oils? Springs? Gear ratios? Weight in truck? Ill be running a 10.5 fully boosted on a wide open track with a lot of big jumps. Its hard pack, dusty and bumpy. Thanks guys

I guess I would ask why your messing with a rx Batt. I'm not familiar with the esc your speaking of but most escs have a built in bec to power the rx and servo.
If you do use a separate power source (external bec or rx Batts) to power rx and servo then yes disconnect the red wire from the esc otherwise you'll have double the voltage to the rx.

1257TG Savox Servo causes the SR300 RX to brown out under heavy load.

Common occurrence.

I use that same setup as far as esc and servo with a sr300 and haven't had any problems so far if so you can just buy a cap that plugs into the rec and stops all your problems

I just watched this video of some cool 3M brand carbon fiber vinyl. Thought it may be cool to utilize it on a R/C project in the future for some cool styleee

I have run a ton of LRP motors and can tell you from personal experience that they always run hot. LRP motors will run typically 20 degrees hotter than most anything else. They are fine in the 180 range. The only thing you should always remember to do on the LRP motors is bearing maintenence. Make sure your checking them and oiling them as needed. Also helps to keep some spares on hand.

Before you do that try one of these http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...rce=google_ext

Most of the time this will be an easy fix. However sometimes those SR300 receivers are a PITA. If you have another RX available to run try swapping out that SR300.
