Thanks guy's for the feed back, couldn't find anything googling this info. I'm going with some 'EDS tools' form Tamiya shop here in Aus. They look really top quality for half the price of their competition.

Finally read through this entire thread.
I have a couple of questions.
I am looking at getting a Savox 1257. Will it fit without any mods? I read much earlier in the thread that some people had trouble, while other didn't.
Also, what hexes does the rear use for the wheels? The front seems to use a standard 1/10 hex, while in the manual I can't see what it uses.
Thanks.

If I missed any Hex or nut driver can someone point it out or pm me. I've looked it up down twice and I don't see and .05, 1/16, 3/32, 5/64 hexs or 1/4, 3/16, 11/32, nut drivers
Dang Chinese..Can any of this millimeter crap convert to what we need to work on a 44.
Can't beat the prices and I see a lot of guys from the track buying from Hobby King and really liking the products they receive.

Some had trouble with their 1257, had to shave part of the bellcrank and the servo case. I have no issues fitting the 1258, although I'm not 100% sure that the case is the same size.
For those using cheaper tools, I highly recommend using the AE tool I linked earlier. I've saved at least 2 people from dremeling their "stripped" screw out of their car. All I did was loan them my hex driver and their screws came right out. Investing in a quality set of drivers will go a long way.

the rear is the normal 12mm when you convert them.
I use Jconcpets #2091 rear 12mm alum. hex. I converted the B44.1 cause my B4.1 is using the hex also and I can just swap out rims with both now.
I have a 1256TG servo mounted and had to shave alittle off the ballcrank arm to the servo horn. I am going to be installing a 1258TG soon though.
