Part of the setup and binding is to set a fail safe setting. I would check that first.

I have full brake and straight ahead for mine.

After I first bound the receiver to the module the first thing I checked was the failsafe. Set to straight ahead and brake.

It's toll free in the US. I dunno what it would be from Austraillia, sorry

Coons, anything is possible, and from my experience with the Tekin ESC's I've used as of late that I must use the SPM1600 Voltage Protector because the BEC output is on the low side. Using a digital servo "may" have amplified the low BEC issue as well. I would suggest using the actual Voltage Protector with your ESC.

Coons, I answered you to the best of my abilities, having not seen the actual wreck as it happened.

Wes, gotcha and replied.

Hey I was just curious will the older model spectrum recievers work with the new PRO modules ??? or do I have to replace all my recievers with the pro series and will the micro recievers work with either modules too ? Any help thanks..

Any combo will work. You just lose half the increased speed.

When you use any of the Pro Series equipment with the original Modules or Receivers, you WILL get an improvement in your latency. The original system's total latency was 5.6milliseconds. When you upgrade to the Pro Series Module and Receiver, the total latency is cut nearly in half to only 3ms. If you run an Original Module with a Pro Series Reciever or a Pro Series Module with an original receiver, you will get half the gain in latency for a total of 4.3ms.
