I'm running the system for the 3PK HRS...will a micro receiver become available for this model in the near future?

Just got my new Pro DSM setup, switching from FM... What I find interesting, is when you turn on the RX (with out the radio on), the wheel are spinning forward, slow but going forward, I turned on the radio and the same thing, so I had to go into the throttle settings and put brake into it to stop this (about 8 clicks). I have two cars, one with a LRP Q2 and the other with a LRP sphere. Both are acting the same with to different RX units, both DSM RX units are the Pro.

Is this normal?
What am I missing?
Do I need to reset my speedo?

If you have your radio set up with roll throttle, when you bind the receiver to the radio that is the position that the fail-safe will hold in the event of a transmitter signal loss. I would say rebind the receiver and module, but back the roll throttle out to the point that the brakes are being applied by the speedo. That way the fail-safe will actually stop your car in the event of a signal loss (which is escentially what you're recreating by turning on the receiver on it's own.)

thanks for the info... I was holding full brake on, but maybe I did something wrong... I will try it again....

PS, I also purchased a EX-10 at the same time, and maybe the factory settings are off... I just looked and I'm not able to locate roll throttle, because they call it something else...

It's just your throttle trim. Should be the left switch on your wheel, and when you adjust it, it's called "ET2-TH Trim". You can also adjust it in your sub menu under Sub-Trim: TH

Hey all. I've been meaning to test the SR3500 with a Tekin ESC and I finally did yesterday. When I had run my Mini-LST with a Tekin Brushless and an SR3000, I had to run the SPM1600 Voltage protector or else it would shutter and sputter on acceleration. With the SR3500, I didn't have any issues at all. I still need to test my QC2 with the new receiver, but good to know that it looks like the new lower voltage requirement DOES make a difference. I have a QC2 in my MF2 that I may test tonight.

I had the same idea, but have not done any modifications yet. Its so embarrassing that all the time when i put transmiter on modul side, i have to beware to no brake antena.

Before try any modifications, it would be good to hear what success other have had with this

i have put the Spektrum module in my Helios, with the spktrum arial is coming out of the factory antenna hole.... kinda hard to describe how to do it tho. i had to take the module apart, and make a small hole in the case where the antenna wire can come out.

if i get a chance, ill shoot some pix this eve.
