Not sure exactly if they work "together" or not but it's the same setup I had and it fixed the issue.

I can post a photo, but the QC2 and the GTB are 2 totally different ESC's. Frankly, I've never had an issue running a GTB and Spektrum. I ran SR3000's in my cars thru April, including in my XXX-4 and my JRX-S, both with a GTB ESC. I never had any BEC issues with any Novak product and my Spektrum receivers.

That's the voltage protector, and it plugs into an open channel on your receiver. It's completely independent from your ESC.

Ordered. In the interim, can I run a 5 cell mini-pack like the 4 cell guys do? I need to get some pratice time in. I just adjusted my shocks, changed body styles and went from 22mm super narrows back to the tried and true 24mm slicks.

I ran my TC last year without a singe hitch. I was using my trusty old QC1, I seen a few others with a QC2 having lap counting problems.

On a different note. I am having problems with the spektrum rx cutting out in my 1/12 when the pack voltage starts to get low, like around the 7 minute mark. I am running a 19t, do I need to run a seperate rx pack like with mod? I know my cells are little old, last year packs, but they still cycle pretty well. I'm using a 3000 rx.

Try the Voltage protector. Also, make sure you guys have the latest firmware for your receiver. This may help as well.

Is this downloadable? How does it sync up to the receiver?

You have to either send it in (it's free) or if there's someone at an event who has the equipment to do it, they can do it there too. I know I am not going to the IIC, but I just sent an e-mail to one of the tech's to see if he's going. I know someone is going from here (Illinois), but I also know he is splitting time between the IIC and another race that is going on at the same time. I don't know if he will have the stuff on hand to do the upgrades, but will find out when he gets back from lunch.

Sonofabitch. I hope I didn't buy an "old" receiver". Would this sync up be anything like what castle creations does with the mamba? And, anything on running a seperate 5 cell mini pack? I've already ordered the Spektrum cap, so do I need to send it in for the formware upgrade as well???
