Gary - from what I've seen, all the receivers are universal...The modules are the ones that are radio specific...Horizon only lists one part number for the Spektrum receiver

Just bind it and go

where did you order your reciever from? I've been looking for some for a few weeks and haven't been able to find a place that has any in stock.

Is anyone using a Spektrum with their nitro car?? Just wondering if there are any issues at all...

receivers must have just been shipped out to dealers, as ebay has a whole bunch available with buy it nows at $75. (one guy has 24 available at that price (down from 25, I just bought one)

Yes - I have used them sucessfully in 1/8th on road nitro and 1/10 nitro sedan without issues.

Be carefull on the Ebay ones ..I bought a reciever only from Ebay and it ended up beeing one of the old ones with the "latency" in response time ...bough the "whole kit" from LHS and it works fine, but they had no reciever's only, couldn't find any anywhere except for Ebay and BLAMO

I got my whole setup from ebay module and receiver and then 2 more receivers and all from different sellers and all work perfectly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone tried the Spektrum system in a Futaba 3vc? I can't get any straight answers about if the module used is the same as the 3pj or 3pk.

The 3VC is the stick version of the 3PJS and yes they work together
