Well I brook down and bought a micro receiver so I could fit the oversized GTB into my pro4. I could not believe the difference! I mean I was now turning into the turn like 6 inches before the turn. So I had to change my driving style. Doesn't the old module and pro receiver reduce the latency? :sneaky: :ha: :ha: :ha: :ha:

Yes. It goes both way. New Tx and old rc or Old Tx and new rx. Drops it by 1.3 to 4.3. Compared to 3.0 with the pro system

Im pretty sure it works like this:

Get the pro module without the new receiver - You turn in 6in early
Get the new receiver without the pro module - You turn in 6in early
Get both a new receiver and module - You turn in a foot early.

Spektrum should have that listed on their site

In all seriousness I dont see a difference at all. I would have never bought a new Spektrum receiver except that I like the size of the new small one.

With that said, most of us are pathetic and spend hundreds of dollars on these things that only in theory make us better :) I know I've done it.

I need another receiver and I really would prefere the new SR3500 Micro receiver. Is this available already or when is the release date?

i was considering getting the hrs spectrum but you cant use the new micro reicevers with so i got the pro version . i know a couple of guys had shut down problems cars taking off and stuff and range they say all is fixed with pro systems just making sure i made the right choice .

Ok, I would like to switch my 1/12th over to spektrum. I would like to know from someone AT Spektrum how reliable their SR3500 receiver will be running 4-cell for 8 minutes. My batteries are not slouches, it's just that I would have the common problem of my car going into failsafe 2 - 3 minutes into a race with the original Spektrum receiver, even with the cap. I wound up switching back to crystals for 1/12th. I am thinking of the SR3500 Micro receiver as a replacement for my 302f.

hey guys I got the DX3 system and I am using a Tekin G-10 Pro + with a 9T motor and I noticed cut out on full throttle starts. When the battery was getting low, it would either power the servo or the motor, not both.

Do I need the capacitor or is this something else going on as the G-10 has a 5Amp BEC I believe.

r0adrunn3r 06-02-2006 02:48 PM

Yes - get the capacitor. For 7 bucks what can you lose?
