in both my t4 and b4 i have the full antenna, but my tube is half the length of the wire, i just folded the wire down along the side, and used shrink wrap around the antenna wire and tube, works great, fits under the body of my t4 perfectly, and is just about as tall as the wing on the b4, of course i used antenna caps on both....have yet to have any issues with glitching or anything.

ok its not "tight" in there there is quite a bit of slack....oh the other thing is i never used the "hole" in the b4/t4 got antenna wires...i feed through the side of the tube about 1/4" up from the chassis, where i drilled a hole out.

My button is able to move left and right. But the % rate just doesn't reduce. It's kind of frustrating right now. I've put up a email help to Hobby Horizon to help me out. Still waiting for a reply.....:(

Thanks for the advice. But the issue is that I'm from Singapore and there's 10-12 hour time difference with USA. My international calls might amount up to quite a bit too.....

I purchased a DX3.0 about 4 months back. I encountered a problem with Grip Level B that controls the Steering Dual Rate Trim Adjustment.
I can increase the % rate but not decrease it at all. :weird: Is there a problem with the transmitter? Or did I set something incorrectly to cause this?:weird::weird: HELP! There isn't anything programming wise that you could have done that would have made this happen out of the blue. I would suggest sending it in for service. |
What is the FRM menu for on the DX3.0, its in the MDL section, choice is N or F it's not in the manual, and I am not sure it was in there before I sent in the radio for repair.
The radio also now makes my servos go full lock once the transmitter is off but reciever is on, which is annoying and might be bad for the servos, any idea on that? (yes recievers have been re-bound a few times since) |

got my m8 today (thanks Zac R) and needed to complete the spektrum mod by plugging the old antenna from the module....and i didn't have a nitro bottle to steal the plug off from, so i used an old bearing holder from an old mod motor, and glued it up, and it snapped right in!!! i think it looks pretty factory, since its not as dark as a nitro bottle plug. |
Just as a reminder guys, the modding of your module cases will void your warantee
MikeXray, The FRM refers to Framerate. N is normal, F is Fast. Use N with analog servos, F with Digitals. Also, if your servos are going into full lock when you have the transmitter powered off its because that's how you had the servo position set when you bound the receiver. When there's no transmitter signal, the receiver will go into failsafe to a preset throttle and steering position that is stored when you bind the receiver to the transmitter. |
I need help with my micro rx please. The problem I am having is after binding the throttle response is good but the steering gitter when I make turn left or right, I tried four different micro rx and the same problem this is with my TC car, I tried it with my 1/12 and everthing works fine, I also send it in to make sure that everthing was working and everthing working just fine, I tried everthing and still have the same problem, I am just tired of trying to get this working with my TC any suggestion.

You may want to check your servo. If the servo gear inside is broken (chipped gear teeth), that can cause your steering to gitter.
Hope I was able to help. |
