Hi Guys,
I'm still learning with this SP system it's got me little confused lol doesn't take much.
Right I'm running the SP 2.1 Pro with 10.5t motor in my 2wd with 27t pinion.
How do I give it more top end on the settings from my laptop?
Which function do I need to use
SC RPM Delay is for smoother bottom end? lower number more punch-higher smoother acc
SC boost level? not really understand
SC punch? Again not really sure
The booklet doesnt really make that much sense as it tells you one thing does this & the next one seems to me will over kill the other setting?
All I want is to give the motor more top end so do I just advance the timing on the motor
Or timing on the speedo but what setting?
Thanks
At present it set as stock from the software

Not enough info to give you much help. Which software version are you using? In general, boost and turbo will give you more top end. Boost will kick in at whatever start RPM you set, then ramp up to its max value at whatever ramp rate you set. You're just using the speedo to advance motor timing as RPMs increase. Turbo occurs after you hit WOT, and kicks in after whatever delay you have set. Also sounds to me like you may be a little over geared, but can't say for sure b/c I don't know what spur or internal ratio you have. I'm running 23/81 with a boosted 17.5 in my B4, so FDR is 8.78. When you run boost and turbo, you're going to under gear the car compared to what you would run without. Look at the Team Driver setups on the website, you should be able to find something close. Start from there, check motor and speedo temps and make changes one at a time.

i have a losi xxx-sct with the cirtix stock esc and 17.5 motor. first, are the brakes suppose to be applied as soon as i hit them or does it take a second? i set up the control and everything and when i hit the brakes, they take a second to apply.
secondly, what gearing should i run?

Can someone explain the differences in the 17.5R V3 MMM, 1 Cell, and standard competition motors? I am looking for a stock class motor that is smooth but has some top end with or without boost. This will be going in a xxx-sct for outdoor tracks. Thanks

All V3 and 1S SP motors are on sale on SP website...check it out. This is only for USA (N & S America) sales only...make sure you click the N & S America button at the top of the website for the correct pricing.

2-3 weeks.
1S is more for 12th scale and TC. MMM has more top end power with higher timing. For SCT...I would stick with V3 motor. But MMM is actually a good option too.

There are none because whatever the latest one is on the SCM itself already.
