Questions?? GT PRO2.0 / SA V2.0 5.5R MOD SETTINGS SC10 4X4

(POSTED also on other SP thread)

Just completed building my SC104x4 last week with the ESC/BL motor combo above and need help with the ESC settings. I already uploaded the latest software for my LCD box but not sure which MOD software I should use. The GT PRO already came with the default 090205MOD settings and I uploaded the more recent one (11xxxxMOD).

Don't have any plans of racing anytime soon. Plan to go to the park with my daughter and chase her TRF801xt nitro truggy around for fun. Need to know a good MOD setting were it won't fry the ESC/BL while having fun at the park. My SC104x4's FDR is @ 12.26 with 32P 13/62 pinion/spur gear as manual suggests for 550 5.5T BL motors.

Thank you to anyone who can help.

Yes. You will need need to install the SP software on your computer, then use it to flash the SP programming software onto the box. After that, good to go. I have the HW box and it works great.

I've raced with a SP GT1.1 for three years this 12/20, started with a SP 13.5 and have used many motors during these 3 years in my T4.

It's a GREAT esc, that I'm very pleased with.

So!!! I just got a SP 2.0 LPF, 323 software, SP 10.5, just came in from a test in front of the house, same setting on the Spek DX2s that I have for the Castle Sidewinder w/4600 that I just took out.

BLEW THE REAR TIRES OFF THE RIMS!!!

Same wheels that I just finished racing with 4 days ago!!!

Maybe I should turn the "Boost" off!

If you are in USA...you need to be in the N and S America website. Otherwise, you are buying from oversea.

No wonder I couldn't keep up with the 17.5's with my Castle Sidewinder 4600!!!!!

The SP GT1.1 has served me well, seems it's time to retire it! :-)

Plenty of new stuff....new ESC for sure. Iphone, ipad , android connection technology ESC....also, new racing kits from Speed Passion.

If you can come to I-hobby in CHICAGO next week, you will see plenty of the new stuff from us. Or...checkout the net or RC magazine reporting the I-hobby show next week.

I'm not sure if it is simply not recommended but at the very least the system will not have the launch it had. The cap holds quite a bit of power that is used when you first pull he trigger hard. Again, I'm not sure, but it may cause some damage. Maybe Howard can answer that.

I scavenged a cap from another ESC to get me thru the race day. I've never ran a modern brushless ESC without a cap so that was why I asked. Gotta order up another from SP though...their twin cap setup fits nicely under the front driveshaft on my b44 and replacement from my junk pile doesn't
