Like DAVID said...use the posted setup from our site....EX works really good with 2WD buggy because of the low heatsink design...and works great with 323stock boost software..or no timing.

GT2.1 PS works out great on 4WD...I think Mike K used it for 4WD or 2WD or SCT but it will work with all the software from our site.

+1. That's why I run the GT 2.0 LPF in my B4, fits under the body nicely. I suspect you'll need a low profile for the 22 as well. 2wd simply doesn't produce enough heat to need a fan, even down here.

how are the 1/8 setups? any issues etc? i was looking at the Speed Passion Silver Arrow V2.0 1/8th Scale Brushless ESC/Motor Combo (2200kV) mostly because the price is right! i see they have it wired for 2 2s batteries, but can you just wire the esc for one 4s battery?

2 2S = 1 4S...voltage are voltage. However, you just have to cut the double plugs and solder the ESC input to 1 single plug...SA2 will work and that combo works great on 4S.

Just for fun I put a fan on the standard lpf speedo in the 22 to see if it would fit. As long as the wires didn't run over the fan to the front of the buggy it had plenty of room. In case anyone was wondering. But you're correct, it's rare that a 2wd buggy will need a fan on the ESC.

I use a GT 2.0 Pro with a SP V3 8.5 in my XX4WE. You can use the 2.1 Pro down to a 5.0t motor.

I currently have the LP 2.1 in my 22 running an 8.5. No complaints. Looking to get another for my future 22t and might to replace the MMP in my B44.

Probably will save the dough and buy a second or a motor. LOL

I use the same (gt2.0 pro) with a v3 7.5. Never had any issues with it in the b44.

This is a shot in the dark, does anyone have or know where I can get the user manual for the Speed Passion GT V1.1?? The sp gt 2.0 are out of stock so I picked up the older version in a trade for now but there were no instructions for the esc and I can't find it anywhere online........
