Ran my car as I do. I do notice a difference between my shorty 65c battery and the full sized 50c battery. But I think it is because of the weight difference.

When I post as well as my question here too :-)

Purchased just before Christmas from RC Mart Speed Passion Reventon Pro 1.1 Brushless ESC w / Competition Motor V3 6.5R.

Mounted it in my B44, 2, and everything seemed ok for a few rounds.
I think I programmed it to "Stock1", has certainly reverse and brake ...

Suddenly it stops and the motor just slowly forward even if I do not give any throttle.
I turn the ESC off and on, so does everything seem to be fine for a few minutes or seconds...
Have tried several batteries, another motor, turning off temp and low voltage protection without result.
I have also tried a fresh installation without result...

Think it's easier if you look at the video I posted at Youtube. The error occurs one minute into the video.

It seems like I'm not allowed to link to other sites

EPA on throttle set to 100/100?
Then flash your LCD to latest firmware and flash the speedo with MOD2 which is smoothest for offraod.. Ditch reverse for now to keep it simple for setup. Don't need boost software with what your running. Recalibrate the transmitter to speedo after you have done all of this. Try a different sensor wire?

Hope this helps.
I'm using a Futaba 3PM transmitter. I know it is working well, since I'm using the same transmitter in other cars. EPA 100/100 and set to REV.

Have tried another transmitter and receiver also, and recalibrated several times.
Have also tried another sensor wire and MOD2 without success :-(

I bought the 1.1 not long after it came out. Have the same problem. Have tried different motors, sensor wires, profiles, even a new transmitter to no avail. Have posted in here and emailed speed passion (didn't even get a reply). Starting to be reminded of my last speedo in the cuts support department. Hope speed passion isn't going the way of Brushless Hobbies.

What is the recommended software version of the GT 2.0 for a boosted 17.5 short course class? We are looking to get this class going again at our local track next week.

I would pony up for the Rev Pro 1.0. Can get them in a combo with a motor for $150. I have ran the Rev Pro in a B4 and B44 for the past year. No problems at all. Only downside to this ESC is they have a large foot print. They perform very well including the motors.

I would get the Pro also, unless you already have the R.

I just recently got 2 speedpasson esc's , one is a reventon pro. I use it in a dex410 with a 8.5. I really like this thing so far. It came with the mod firmware on it , but I switched it over to the stock software that offers more timing adjustments so I could fool with it . Ended up using the more basic setting anyway. The box programmer is awesome , it programs different firmwares. The esc itself seems well made , and it hasnt done anything funny yet. Its smooth , or at least I think it is . The brakes took a little tuning , but I am happy with them. The punch and timing adjustments really are noticable , in the 4wd I run the punch on 6 and the timing on 8 and it stays cool without a fan. LVC works well and is consistant. My only gripe , and its not the esc's fault , is the language used on the website to describe firmware updates and some other software changes. They seem to think you already know what your doing. Maybe you do , but I had not owned a esc yet that you could change the firmware on to the extent you can with these, so it was a bit confusing.

I use another speed passion in a 22t with a 13.5 and stupid timing . It never even warms up . I wish I had found these before I went through my Castle phase .

The BEC is a bit weak on the R. Make sure to use a capacitor connected to your receiver if you plan on using a high-draw servo.

I have speed passion motors and ESC's in my Stadium Truck, Mod Buggy's and recently got a 4wd buggy and they all have SP esc and motors.. I've never had a problem with the ESC's! I'm not fast but I enjoy going to the track and only worrying about breaking parts and not having to worry about the ESC's

I'm really just looking for something to run both mod and stock class.
