Maybe they just like the 2 cell better than 4.
What motor are you useing in your SC104x4? is it one of the 1/8th scale motors? and are you running 2 cell with it? the reson i ask is i am using the blaze 550 and like it but SP is not going to put any more out any time soon so i am looking for a replacement motor.

Is this blinky class? reason I ask is that you may find you want to get some of the sensor boards then. The green one felt pretty good as a starting point but I can see guys going with yellow especially if the other guys are running full timing on there motors.

what exactly is going on with SP on the offroad front, in particular 1/10 SCT and 1/8 E buggy? I wanted to try one of there 1/8 offroad motors but for some strange reason they released their motors that are sensored in a very odd Kv range, and the ones that would have been perfect as sensorless. For racing nowadays, people pretty much want Sensored motors in the Kv range that there current sensorless lineup is in?

As for the blaze, I hope that maybe they are going to look into a 540 4 pole design at a minimum.

Hello,

Sorry, We only have 2 phone line. Please leave a message with your name or a EXT when you call from work. We will get back to you ASAP. Sometime call can last as long as an hour.
As for the RMA, are you trying to file a RMA or update a tracking #. If you are filing a RMA, please make sure you fill in everything.

Thank you

I have the Reventon Pro 17.5R kit. comes with 120amp esc and motor. I flashed the esc to allow reverse, yet reverse is very weak and sometimes doesn't work. any idea why this happens? running a version 3. with a 2s lipo on a b4.1 worlds edition.

my initial thought was the controller. its a skyfly gt3b. the controller works great for reverse in all my other cars/boats. (orion r10 pro, toro micro esc)

when you flashed the ESC software, did you reset your radio end points and rebind the radio to the ESC?

What amount of power to you have set for reverse as well?

Hideeho
I have switched from tekin rs pro to rev r in my b4 & a rev pro in my b44. I am extremely happy with the switch. I also switched from tekin rx8 to the SA II, but I'm not as happy with that switch. Has anyone heard any rumors of a new 4s ESC coming, maybe a reventon 8?

I take it 100% reverse isn't powerful enough either ... I know that from what I have seen of there reverse the few times I used it on the GT line, at times it would detect "brake" even though it should have found reverse on the second back push of the trigger, if my understanding of how it works make sense.

Curious if it could be that at some level we can't easily see, it is detecting "Forward" after we do "Brake", hence, instead of going in "Reverse", it thinks we should do "Brake" again?

Helping a buddy pick out a new system for his e-buggy. I am digging my Reventon Pro and am trying to find some Speed Passion stuff for him since he's being budgeted by the old lady. Is the Silver Arrow v2 the newest and greatest? Anyone have any idea where I can find one in stock? Also what motor would we be looking at. Some are listed in "turns" and some "Kv". Which is the newer version etc.. Thanks gents !

from speed passion, yes its there current unit.

You usually need to look on speed passion's stores to see in stock status. That is where to get it the cheapest usually. It runs about $75 or so shipped in the USA last time I saw it listed.

As for motor Kv, to be honest if this is for racing, you will want to get a sensored motor, and on 4S, the current SP line Kv range in my honest opinion is too high. I would want to stay around 1800Kv - 2200Kv max. I believe there lowest in sensored configuration is like 2400Kv or so. A real shame. You may find he likes the higher Kv however.

As for mating up the SAV2 with another brand motor, it works really well with Tekin's motors like the 1900Kv or 2050 Kv ones.

no prob. I feel its a great speed control. A bit big, but it feels robust.

SP_CS: What happened to the Cirtrix or whatever it was called R8 Speedo?
