I have a mmm17.5 I'm selling. But I was thinking about keeping it just in case I do any 17.5 classes. I had this in a touring car. It has I believe the yellow board with purple super 7 rotor? Would I be better off putting the original parts inside to use it for 2wd off road?

I am wondering...what is your car..? And what causes the reverse rotation...?
Understand this...if you are running SENSORED...only the SOFTWARE (if equipped) will allow you to reverse the rotation. For GT2.1, there are no software to do so.....sorry.
The only way to reverse the rotation of the motor is...use sensorless. unplug the sensor wire, you CANNOT use it. Then rotate the A and C wire (I think that is the way....FYI, I never tried it...I only heard about it). And the motor rotation will be reverse. And you will never be able to use timing and boost from the ESC.
Just try to find out WHY you need to reverse the rotation of the motor..?

I have a reventon pro that i just found in my rc stuff that will turn on but will not put any power to the motor unless you push the car a little. Can these still be sent in for repair or is there something that I may be over looking that could be causing the problem?
i have tried a new sensor wire and different motors.

Could someone explaine the differences between an older Prostock 2.1 and a Revention s and Revention R? It would be for used in either a buggy or short course stock (17.5) class. I know the Prostock is the older model and it is very good (currently using) but I was wondering about the new ones that are out. Have the bugs been worked out of the Revention series? Also what more would I get if I were to step up to the Revention Pro 1.1??
Thanks for the help,
Mark

My experience has been that the 1.1 has all the bells and whistles. Latest updates, improved features and it can do everything (within reason). The R is great and does wonderful. Similar adjustability and features but the continuous current is about half.
IMO if at some point you decide to run Mod. Get the 1.1 and forget it. It will run blink mode and everything in between. If not, save some $$ and get the R version. Either way I think you'll like them.
I'll attach a pic of the manual comparisons numbers.
Finally getting around to posting pics of mine. Loving them so far.

Spend your money just once and have all the performance you will ever need and then some for less than most other high end ESC's. Like you, I have a bunch of Speed Passion products. 3 ESC's (soon to be 4) and 2 motors (soon to be 3). Would have more but some of my equipment pre-dates me trying Speed Passion and they work fine so no need to change… yet.

Just wanted to say how impressed I have been with the Revention pro 1.1 and the 17.5t v3 motor. Being new to the hobby I found it extremely easy to set up with the supplied programming box and also with the PC hook up option. In stock mode the motor and esc stay very cool, even with increasing the pinion size it hasn't made a noticeable difference in running temps. Changing the esc settings has a very noticeable effect and makes setting the esc for different track conditions very easy.
A big thumbs up for this product

I only had a bad Rev Pro 1.1 out of the box and my buddy I buy from swapped me out. Was speaking with him last night and he told me how disappointed he is in Speed Passion's QC as of the 3rd run of Rev pro 1.1's. He said he's gotten the largest percentage of non-working ESC's from them than any other brand he deals with. He's been waiting 6 months for an RMA to send back 20 ESC's and a couple of motors which also speaks to the direction the company may be headed.
He also told me that the founder of Speed Passion was cast out of the company but that he's not sure if it's because of the issues as of late, or if his leaving the company is the reason for the QC issues. Either way it's not good and I for one have been an avid supporter of Speed Passion and would be disappointed if they didn't fix their issues because it would mean the end of them. The delay of the V4 Motor to market is also indicative of possible issues. I really love my SP equipment but if it doesn't turn around I might be switching to either Hobbywing 3.1's or another new up and coming brand that's slowly growing in popularity due to their impressive performance.

Maybe a dumb question but did you set all your points? (Neutral, Full Throttle, Full Brake)
