I recently picked up a new speed passion reventon and it seems to hit LVC really early. Not sure if its an internal problem or something else is causing it. The motor and esc are running cool, so I don't think it is hitting the temp cut off. I bought some other lipos thinking my lipos are going bad but the same thing is happening, and the lipos are fully charged and balanced. LVC cut off setting hasn't been touched. Everything is plugged in correctly and nothing is loose. Not really sure what else could be wrong. Let me know what you guys think.

What motor are you running?

I am running a 10.5 tacon and the same thing was happening with my 17.5 reedy sonic. The orange light is constantly on and the red one is blinking if that matters.

Ended up ordering a rev pro this morning. Which profile is preloaded?

MOD1

http://www.speedpassion.net/reventon/home.asp the far right tab for firmware and set up sheets, tells you all the reventon ESc's whats preloaded, and what each ESC can run.

That's LVC. What is your current setting? What "C" rating are your packs? What kind of batteries? If you have not changed your LVC settings then it should be set at No Protection. It sounds like your batteries can't keep up with your motor/esc amp draw. I had this happen with some cheap 15c lipos on a Hobbywing ESC. I had to run the lowest punch (DRRS in Speed Passions terminology)possible. When at idle throttle are both the Red and Orange LED should be solid if running sensored mode.

Could be. What C rating and what type of battery? Try lowering your DRRS all the way down to 1 and see what happens. If you are not hitting LVC then you know your packs can't keep up.

The current settings on my reventon stock club esc is all the same other then changing the brake to 80%. I'm using a 40C lipo battery, and actually ended up picking up some other batteries (same C rating) thinking my old ones where going bad. The light is red and orange before it acts like its in LVC. But what you said makes sense, maybe I'll try dialing down the punch.

I do not believe that the USA warranty will apply to product shipped outside the USA. You should be able to purchase direct from the European distributor and still retain the warranty.

http://www.speedpassion.net/

Speedpassion states this on their website:
Speed Passion product sold to dealers and consumers in the USA is for USA customer use only. There will be no warranty or repair service for USA labeled product from customers outside of the USA. Please keep your purchase receipt and fill out and return your USA warranty card to avoid delays if future warranty or repair service should be needed.
