No you do not need to run a fan. Running 17.5 will not stress the Reventon to the point you should run a fan. Most buggies I have seen running S, R or Pro Reventons do not use a fan.

BLUETOOTH help needed.

bought and installed one. It worked for a couple changes then stopped when i mounted it in the car. When it is plugged in i get no drive to the motor. However I will retain steering.

When i connect to the phone it will connect but i am unable to make changes then it will say it can not connect.

I have tried it on 3 different reventon pros and it is the same on all of them. I have gone threw the setup mode with it several times and it will not work properly.

Is there something that I am doing wrong? anything that i may be missing in setup or trouble shooting?
Did you reset the Bluetooth module and re-par it with your Android phone? Can you post or PM more about the setup you are running? ESC, RX, fan, etc?

Thank you.

prolly over kill for blinky honestly. in blinky you cant use all the cool stuff the pro has. but you would also have it if you switched to mod

So my BH 80A ESC died. Never getting one of those again. On to Speed Passion. Love the Silver Arrow in DEX408 and now am ready to convert my SC10 to SP as well.

I run the SC10 in Stock only, no mod. So Blinky mode with 17.5 motor. I was thinking of getting a GT2.0/2.1, but I stumbled upon the GT2.1 Prostock ESC, which is on sale on the US website right now for $89.99. Since I have no plans to ever run this truck on anything but blinky, I'm thinking this is the best bet ESC wise for me.

For those that have tried GT Pro and the Prostocks, How does the Prostock perform? I have the older LCD programmer that I use with the Silver Arrow already, so if I wanted to run the 323Stock software, I'd have the programming card already. I guess that brings up another question, what software does the Prostock come with? And how does the 323stock differ?

I have the GT2.0 Pros and the GT2.1 Pro stocks. to be honest in the type of use I use the Pro stock in, I don't see a difference other than the GT2.1 Pro stock has a much larger fan lol.

Solara, is there a way to give my Reventon pro a brushed motor feel? I'm running a 4.5 on dirt oval and dont come completely to neutral so drag brake doesn't really work. I love the feel of all my LRP's i've had because they give a brushed feel and slow my car down some on entry but am switching all my speedos over to SP's. Tks

Just want to give a HUGE shout-out to Speed Passion and their customer service. Had a slight issue with a recent order and they blew me away with how they took care of it. They went WAY above and beyond. They definitely scored a life-long supporter. WAY TO GO SPEED PASSION!!!

Great combo :)

I have been running that in all the buggies I've own and it works great. Depending on your track you might want to pickup an optional sensorboard to have a higher timing option :)
