Typically no. I have over 10 orders with them and in my experience it has been 2-3 days at most. Did the website update with a tracking number?

Yes, tracking # but it says only electronic info received via USPS website. Guess I'll try calling their 800 # tomorrow.

from what I was told, it eventually will be phased out for a new 1/8 ESC.

So I'm looking at the website is the gt series better than the reventon?

Cain 01-27-2013 03:38 PM

reventon series is newer.

The GT2.0 LPF in comparison to the non Reventon Pro escs has a stronger BEC.

Captcha 01-27-2013 04:13 PM

So would the gt 2.0 lpf be better than a reventon r?

Cain 01-27-2013 04:29 PM

depends on what you requirements are. If you are running a boosted class that is limited to some spec motor, You probably would find more benefit to have the latest software that the reventon will have.

If its just plain mod and you don't want to worry about your BEC handling a servo where you need an external BEC or a capacitor, you may find benefit to the GT series.

I personally run pretty much all mod or blinky stock and have been using pretty much GT2.0 Pros and GT2.1 Pro Stocks. I have buddies with the Reventon S, R's, and Pro models and they work well.

So I'm new to SP. I've been selling off my mix of LRP and old Novak stuff and replacing them with a combination of PRO and R depending on the vehicle.

Does anyone know if the R will safely run an old Novak 7.5L (light version) without issue or should I put that motor on the PRO and use the R to run the 8.5R that came with the pro combo? Any recommendation on a profile to use?

The 7.5L is in my T4 mod truck
The 8.5R will be in my SC10 mod CORR
Smaller track with one good straight and lots of turns.

I do know about the potential for having to cut the temp wire.

I've been running my 7.5 and 8.5 with stock 1 firmware with my R. I don't run a extra cap and it flawless. I also use a Savox servo

gndprx 01-27-2013 05:59 PM

Good to hear since I use the savox high voltage servos as well.

Thanks!

I'm just planning to run blinky stock that's what I'm trying to figure out before I buy. I will be running the mmm 17.5

I personally like the ESC to have a bit leeway for usage, so I would get a Reventon R or GT2.1 Pro stock or LPF, etc. The nice thing from what I understand with the R however is you get the programmer than can be updated to the blinky software. the GT series you need to buy a seperate programmer. (I got one available if you need it).
