If you have to plug it in every time you want to make an adjustment, I don't see the advantage of using it with your cell phone, versus using it with the LCD programming card.
no it does not need to mount in the car if you do not want to. the only advantage to the module is you can do a firmware change at the track or where ever without a laptop. just hook the module inline and turn you phone or tablet on and change whatever you want.

DDrs does not affect temp that much. I really depends on the burst rate of the pack you are using. using a low C rated battery you will no see it with the DDrs that high.

The esc was new out of the box and I installed it like I have my other two reventon pros. Everything worked fine. Calibrated it and test run. Updated his firmware to 2.6 on the box and as I went to update the esc to mod2 software it failed shortly after the update and now the esc wont work.

BTW: this was using V1.1.0.21
did you send it in for service.just wondering if you got yours back yet.

Don,

Sent you a PM. i have all the software for my GT 2.0 and LPF on the digital box, so let me know. I can meet you at the track sometime if you want it.

The newer MOD1 software should be plenty for you. Esp. for a 13.5 it should be fine. We may have to up the timing and boost, but its easy enough to change.

Take it a little easy on me for this question. Running on a somewhat small track and have both a LPF and Pro 2.0 and it will be in either a T4 or B4. 17.5 running full timing on the ESC and everything else turned up because I am not running blinky. Gearing?

I know Mod2 is the choice for the R-Pro, but what would be the next best software that had boost as an option?

17.5 around 75/30 would be a safe start and mind your temps.

they dont compare at all, the Reventon pro is by far the best value for the money out there,,,with the Tekin RS, I felt like I had an on/off switch in the car...with the Reventon, you have all the low, mid, and high range,,,and it is butter smooth!
