stock is usually 17.5T motors at a minimum, 2S battery limit. mod is open motor, but may be limited to ROAR rules in general.

Your program card is LED or LCD? The latest version of LED is V1.4, LCD is V2.7. What ESC firmware do you using?

Anyone else having trouble connecting to the wifi module? I tried using IP 192.168.11.111 and 192.168.11.223. I'm able to connect to it but when I use the reventon app, it says wifi disconnected. I tried restoring the factory setting, no difference. I bought this item new from my LHS.

I have LED, i installed th enew hardware they announced, (tried to put in the v1.4) but keeps saying stall ESC, or only gives me na option to update firmware. I installed the older version the night before sea,ed all right. Getting an LCD box just because, I plan to get more Reventons, and they all come with LED, so might as well upgrade.

Default v3 motor connectors

Anyone know any alternative bullet connectors to the speed passion ones used on v3 motors or what size they are? I just bought a used motor and have no way to hook it up to my esc.

Speed passion has the connectors on their website. Or, you can solder directly to the tabs which is what I do.

Is it necessary to remove the endbell to change the mechanical timing on the motor? I heard from a member of my local track that you only need to loosen the cap rather than to remove the whole endbell. When I tried, it showed a bit of resistance and I did not proceed further for fear of breaking the connector. Would anyone like to share their experience in adjusting the mechanical timing on their motor?

Thanks!

I've always done it by removing. When I get home I will test your way, and verify what works.

I do it by loosening the screw enough that it can turn. But there is some resistance.

Thanks for checking.

He did mention that the sensor unit rests on top of a rubber ring which may make it hard to slide if not loosened well. I chickened out at this point as I didn't know how far to go before the endbell came off. From his experience, he told me that reassembly was nothing to look forward to as the magnetic rotor was finicky to align and frustrating as heck to get through the bearing.

Thanks again for helping out. I look forward to your findings.
