Quick question, I'm running a GT 2.1 prostock what profilelevel are guy's running for 17.5 sct? I'm going to run a 3.5 17.5 high torque rotor motor, and are you runnig any timing? Thanks

Solara just an update the Reventon Pro with the Tekin Gen 2 17.5 is running perfect since removing the temp wire. I have 3 race days and 2 practice days on it with no shut down issues.
Thanks again for the help and Merry Christmas to you and the rest of the Speed Passion crew.

Few questions need help on, New to electric, been nitro only. Starting to really enjoy electric. Anyway, I bought the RTR DEX210 and it has the Speed Passion Cirtix stock esc and Ultra Sportsman 13.5r motor, liked it but did not have enough power, went to the Ultra sportsman 10.5r, really like the xtra power needed with some jumps. Now I think I might try the Revention S or R esc series to help with the throttle curve. #1 Would I see a big difference between stock and Rev. esc's, #2 Can I still run the Ultra Sportsman 10.5R with the Revention esc. or would it be better to upgrade to V3 Competition 10.5R Motor.

You will see a performance difference between the Citrix stock esc and the Reventon Pro, R or S model of esc's due to the ability of these esc's to run the mod software profiles which the citrix can not. To answer your motor question you should not have any problems running your Ultra sportsman 10.5 with any of theses esc's.If you choose to upgrade to the V3 competition motor it has adjustable timing which will also gain some performance.

The R would be the closest to the prostock and LPF ESCs.

I believe the BEC on the GT2.1 Pro Stock will be better too.

It is a good speedo....but you were asking about STOCK and are you talking about motor timing...?

DRRS are at least level 6 and above...I like it at 7 but lots of fast guy go as high as 9 (max)

Cain 12-27-2012 11:23 AM

how significant does DRRS affect temperature on the motor? Assuming stock 17.5 blinky?

microrcdude 12-27-2012 12:48 PM

Any idea how to check the status of an order? Placed one last week but cannot figure out how to log in to check for order updates.

Thanks!

For timing, I was just wondering if guy's are running end bell timing on their motors and if so how much. DRRS 7 is what I was really looking for thank you I'll give it a try.

Reventon Blue Tooth Module question

I just received a Reventon Pro for Xmas from my son. Tried it at practice tonight, and it was awesome. The power application is very smooth, making the car much easier to drive and jump. A couple of questions about the bluetooth module. Is it supposed to be mounted in the car? If so, do you connect it with a Y-cable? If you have to plug it in every time you want to make an adjustment, I don't see the advantage of using it with your cell phone, versus using it with the LCD programming card.
