Quick question, I'm running a GT 2.1 prostock what profilelevel are guy's running for 17.5 sct? I'm going to run a 3.5 17.5 high torque rotor motor, and are you runnig any timing? Thanks

Run the blinky profile on that ESC. Timing on the D3.5 will depend on your track, driving style, and motor temperatures. Start low on timing to be safe then work your way up combining gearing and timing.

Could somebody tell me the differences between the reventon R and Reventon S compared to a gt2.1 prostock? When I was on the site I couldn't seem to find it...

There is a tab on the Speed Passion website that will allow you to see all the Reventon specs.

For timing, I was just wondering if guy's are running end bell timing on their motors and if so how much. DRRS 7 is what I was really looking for thank you I'll give it a try.

DRRS in stock 17.5 can range from 5-9. It really is a personal preference with no definitive answer.

From what we have seen it's minimal in offroad.

I just received a Reventon Pro for Xmas from my son. Tried it at practice tonight, and it was awesome. The power application is very smooth, making the car much easier to drive and jump. A couple of questions about the bluetooth module. Is it supposed to be mounted in the car? If so, do you connect it with a Y-cable? If you have to plug it in every time you want to make an adjustment, I don't see the advantage of using it with your cell phone, versus using it with the LCD programming card.

Consider it an option. Yes it needs to be plugged in to the ESC when you want to make a change. One advantage is you don't need a laptop with you to make setting and firmware changes.

ok, got a problem with the Reventon Pro. This is a buddys. It wont work now after a failed update. It just turns on then shuts off right away with just a yellow light. Any fixes?

The esc was new out of the box and I installed it like I have my other two reventon pros. Everything worked fine. Calibrated it and test run. Updated his firmware to 2.6 on the box and as I went to update the esc to mod2 software it failed shortly after the update and now the esc wont work.

BTW: this was using V1.1.0.21

What software do you recommend with a 13.5 motor on a fairly tight indoor clay track for a mod truck class?

Is there a list of what the different software versions are designed/best for? (vehicle, track conditions, motor, etc.)

Here is a link to the different software profiles. I would think the Mod 2 or Stock 1 software then adjust settings to your liking.

Thanks for the response, but I forgot to tell you that I don't have the newest SC. I have a GT2.0 LPF which has several stock and mod options for software.

What kind of FDR/gearing?

Cain 12-29-2012 07:51 PM

I personally would use the latest stock software personally since its a 13.5 motor.

Stock 323 software is super smooth and perfect for mod.
