So what happens now? It doesn't turn on or does it with any LED indicators? If so which ones, steady or blinking?

Not electronics, but Speed Passion none the less. I'm liking my Speed Passion Ananta short course body. I've been running the pre-painted and now sprayed up a non-prepainted version. These bodies are solid and hold up very well in SC door banging :P

When the ESC is connected to the programming card and computer does the Speed Passion software read/recognize the ESC at all?

Try re updating the card again and reload the program on the computer and try to setup the esc again.Mine locked me out could'nt adjust or load different profiles and this fixed it.

On the vidio on the speed passion site it shows a driver pull his car into pit lane, pull out his iPhone and change his esc setting all without ever turning the car off or leaving the drivers stand, is this really possible and what is needed to be able to do that?

Cain 01-01-2013 08:56 PM

wireless module. Buddy of mine has that and did just that.

Gwoodrc 01-01-2013 09:07 PM

I would have thought that it would be the Bluetooth module to do it with the iPhone?

I have the bluetooth module It always trips people out at the track when you pull out your phone an adjust your esc.

Gwoodrc 01-01-2013 09:25 PM

Do you have to have your laptop with you at the track or can you do everything through the iPhone with the wifi module?

See 01-01-2013 09:36 PM

No laptop needed.

As stated above by others, try and connect the ESC to your computer via the programming card. Then update the firmware again. This will usually solve the problems you describe. You can choose any firmware and not necessarily the one you are trying to run. Sometimes choosing a different firmware first helps. Then once your ESC accepts that you can go ahead and update the firmware you are specifically trying to use.

Not having to bring a laptop is one of the key benefits that the WIFI and Bluetooth module give the user. It is easier to use your smartphone trackside instead of a netbook/laptop.

Do we know if this module will be updated to work with Android 4.0? Most Android phones bought in the last couple months would be running 4.0
