I personally have not seen any problems other than i know a buddy had a bad program box and the esc would not calibrate correctly.

Are you having a problem????

I have yet to run mine as it just came in the mail, so I was curious if any issues I should be aware of.

I have not payed attn to every reply in this thread.

I know about 10 people personally running this including myself and i have not seen any failures.
I did read about some random shut offs and idk if that was caused by a low punch setting or not.

Turning off the voltage cutoff will let racers use the full potential of the battery. If the voltage sags below the cutoff under high loads, the ESC will go into cutoff/limp mode and will reduce power to the motor a ton to protect the battery. Most racers are aware of what their batteries are capable of so they turn it off so the ESC won't go into cutoff/limp mode.

Same situation with overtemp protection. If things get too hot, the ESC will cut power to cool things off. Racers disable this since they keep track of temps to ensure they're in the proper operating range.

No problems here mine is running strong.

I had a few issues with mine this past weekend, first time out with it. It would act like low voltage protection was kicking in (flashing yellow) but the battery was fresh off the chargers. Tried a few other batteries and same thing. Then it randomly decided to work. When I got home I wanted to set a few things on radio etc and had the same problem. At very low throttle (barely giving it any) it would stutter and then start flashing the light.

By reading above it could be a low punch setting? I did turn mine down to like 2 or 3 as it was my first time out with new truck and first time racing in 10 yrs.

Thanks

This is very close to what I experienced with mine. Turning off the voltage protection, temp protection, or upping the punch setting didn't have any affect on mine and I was told by Speed Passion to send it back in. Waiting on the replacement now....

Hmmm, well I will give it a go again this weekend to see what happens. I have a Tekin RS Pro standing by but I really didn't want to use it .

Ya, mines the pro also. Out of the box it didn't have any brakes even set at 100% with the programming box. Like I said, plugged into the computer, loaded the latest firmware and Mod1 and set brakes at 80, way too much brake now for 2wd.

Was this the mod1 v18-b33? Mine had mod1 v16 in it

Could someone please recommend a combo for a B44? Somewhere around 6.5-7.5 turn maybe? Sensored esc of course. Thanks.
