Easy way to lower the JR connector height on Reventon?
I was wondering if there were any easy ways I may not have thought of to lower the JR style connector height by angling the connectors horizontally instead of vertically. I'm trying to mount the Reventon R into my 17.5 blinky B4.1 and don't need the fan. The connector sits too close to the body for comfort.

what version of the firmware didt you guys use on the Reventon Pro??

after running tekin for some time now.i have decided to try a different route.
a couple of guys from another track (lh)came up to race. they stated they were sponcerd by sp.gave me some info on there esc's and looked impressive. stated that they can even run a pro4 4600 motor in 4wd sct on them, even more impressive. was told to look for the reventon pro,or the gt2 pro carbon. my question is, what is the difference between the 2. and are the programmers compatable between the 2 i will be running these in off road in the following . losi scte,pro4 4600 losi 22 sct, shuur speed 17.5 blinky losi 22t,tekin 10.5 |
Reventon Pro is the latest model. More powerful than GT2.0 Pro from what I understand and has the power button integrated from what I saw.
Programmers are not compatible betweeen the two however the Reventon comes with the one you can connect to the PC. the GT2.0 Pro doesn't. I use the GT2.0 Pros in everything now including 4x4 SCT. excellent ESC. |

run the ddrs as high as you can. in blinky mode give that mmm motor as much power as you can. It does not hurt anything. stock blinky software is good. I do not use drag Brake. I have a Reventon but I am choosing to stick with the Gt2.0 pro. I don't like how it looks in my car at the moment

Just wanted to update y'all.
Existing hobbyshop now under new mgmt help a free race last night. Raced 2wd buggy, SP LPF and a Peak 17.5. Had trouble before with inconsistent throttle response before and swapped to a different Esc, but wanted to try the LPF again. I Was able to update a HW digi box with SP software and now it works like a champ. Managed to get into the A with one solid qual, ( servo arm broke just into my 1st lap of first qual.) Was finished mid pack. 4wd still needs tweaking. Only 5 racers, so it wasn't my best night. Using the GT2.0 and a peak 8.5. Still looking for some good Esc settings for my B44.1. I'm looking at updating to the rev pro as soon as I get some money and maybe the r spec for stock. Very pleased with SP so far. Most run Orion, Tekin and a few lrp and Viper. I like being different. Might make the jump to SP motors as well. Momo |
Anyone have issues installing the software on Xp? Works pefectly on my windows 7 computer.

Did you have the battery hooked up?
|
 yes..

Wow, man that has got to suck. Going from where you needed the battery in the GT series to Reventon where you don't when PC programming is going to be quite a change from some mindset wise.
Any news on the new 1/8 scale stuff? What Kvs will the motors be and will there be a new 1/8 ESC available when the motors are? |
