Anyone seen a issue yet with the Revention Pro reading abnormal input voltage???
Have a buddy with one hooked it up worked fine. Made some changes went to recalibrate the esc to the TX and now it flashes the lights per the manual says improper input voltage. Tried two different batteries both were unsuccessful. ESC provides power for steering servo but thats all. Stumped right now. |
Having an issue with my new ProStock. I can get power to my receiver but will not allow bind or servo functions. I have seperately tested servo and receiver and they are both good. ESC is somehow not allowing signal to the rest of my system. ESC is brand new. Just turned on tonight.
What do I need to do? |
is it plugged in correctly, the wires in the ESC? I had a similar issue, the new wires since they are all black had it reversed.

Anyway, yes, wires are correct. |
yeah, that is something that is really rediculous, like, how much does it cost to include the different colored wires?
Try flashing the firmware. |
Yea, Can't even get into the ESC from the LCD box.
|
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesnt speed passion have a reset if you will, unplug all the motor wires and leave the sensor wire in and it resets??
|
This is happening during initial setup. I don't have a motor hooked up to the car.

I'm having issues with my Reventon R that I can't seem to figure out. I've already discovered that putting 1.0.0.15 firmware in the programming card renders the LED display useless so went back to 1.0.0.12 on it. I'm also having an issue with the 7.5 motor in my stadium truck studdering on initial acceleration. I've tried 3 different sensor wires that are known to work and had my brother try the motor in his buggy with no issue. With the version 18 mod1 firmware, I would see alternating orange and red flashing in the ESC. Backing down to version 16 I don't see any blinking lights. The blinking occurred even with temp and lvc disabled. This has happened with several batteries now and I'm running out of things to try. Has anyone else seen this or know of anything else that I should try? Before anyone says it, yes the esc was calibrated to the radio and everything works fine with the exception of the initial studder. The battery I initially saw this with is the one my brother used in his car so it's safe to say the battery and motor work ok together.

I'm using a KO EX-1 UR with the 409s receiver. I checked for possible brown outs by pulling the red pin from the ESC wire to the reciever and using a receiver pack with the same results. I tried my 5.5 motor in the truck and it seemed fine. Seems strange that the 7.5 would work fine in my brothers car (using a novak Kinetic) yet give me fits with the Rev R. I will be swapping the sensor board from the 5.5 into the 7.5 tonight and see if that is the issue. Both motors are the Speed Passion V3.0 1 cell. I will also try the 7.5 on the Rev R in my 22 and possibly my touring car prior to pulling it apart.
