Viper RC -
Use profile 2, set the brakes as you like. Depending on how much traction you have you can lower Throttle Punch if low traction, Raise it slightly if traction is good.

Also viper what gives it has been way to long since the website was shut down I am starting to worry. I have lots of money invested in your products and it just baffles me how you can allow your website to be down for as long as it has been.
Its only been down for 2 weeks. Its needed to be fixed up for a while, some items on there have not been sold for like a year and half.
Unfortunately, our web guy is good. Not only is he costly, but also very busy.
New site will be geared towards next generation stuff. Plus be easier for me to update with race news and product tips. I don't have an exact date for when we open it back up -- because it will have the new esc info, so not til they are ready.
If you need any info on the older generation all the same info is our dealer website at www.hobbyauthority-dist or customer site at www.hobby-square.com
You can always PM me with any questions. I have some answers.

any eta for the new vtx8 esc? or should i say vtx8.2 or vtx10?
i really love my vtx8 vf8 1900kv on my buggy and racing them (got 2nd overall last season on my local track 1/8 buggy pro class), now i sold my sct im looking to another buggy, and i have no other option except viper esc to control this new buggy.
i also race 1/8 etruggy pro class this year but the season already start and still viper vtx8 is out of stock, i have no choice but to get rx8 gen2 (which is the switch is soooo crappy! and the programming needs computer or android phones) and besides that tekin combo is strongly recommended by tekno on their vehicles since i got tekno et48, but its really heavy on my heart to put this switch crappy tekin on my etruggy because the season will be starting (last march), but i still run viper vf8 2100kv on my et48 with rx8 gen2.
so i hope when my new buggy arrive and in the process of building it the new vtx8 will bee release so that i dont have to wait to race the new buggy or else i will hang my old buugy just to get the viper combo running on it. i wish viper will announce its new 1/8 esc not before christmas! (season are over)

I would check with chassis mfg on exact gearing for your car, always seems to be a good ball park to check, they are typically within a gear or two. If you want to PM what car you run, I can try and track down some notes, as we have team drivers using most every popular brand chassis that is sold.

As it is set at the 10 degree marking out of the box I felt obligated to see how much torque those three screws that hold the timing ring in place could handle. She is now sitting up around the 40 degree mark and I should have a good idea after a lap or two if this was a good idea. I was hoping to shorten that learning curve a little bit.
