Just figure everyone is getting tax checks, weather is getting better (as I prepare for 4 inches of snow where I live), people are starting to plan for outside.... hit'em when you can!!!!!!
We always have new products we are working on ..... some longer than others.

Sorry to hear something happen. If it doesn't power on and all the connections and battery are good, capacitor is next on the list. The way our circuit is drawn it needs that capacitor to operate. You can purchase a replacement here on our site:http://www.shopviperrc.com/ProductDe...ode=6VSPCAP004
Or if you like you can fill out an RMA and send it to us, we can let you know what we find.

Hey guys just a bit of a query... What is the highest temp everyone has been running the vst motors?? Windings and rotor can hold what temp after a 5 min run and say a 10 min run?? I know there is so many variables but the mechanical limit inside the can has a limit so I have been setting the temp cut off at 180 F is that to conservative????
The esc is set to 220F and going no where near that just the motor cut out in a 10min main today and it was set at 180F so can anyone shed some light please
Thanks for your help everyone

I had set mine to 180 too but with the internal motor temp being read on the ESC you lose quite a few degrees to the external temp. I would imagine all motors are going to be different but if you use the 220 stock setting I think you are going to end up with an external temp of around 180. I've only hit that once during a race and I didn't have an opportunity to temp it right away so I can't guarantee that.

As when my firmware and software was new the default setting for the motor temp was 160F and the ESC was 220F.
Cheers for your help
