And when does the motors come out for them 1/8 buggy and truggy motors

At this time, there is no 1/8 scale motors scheduled for production for at least the 1st quarter of 2013.

I just installed a viper vtx 10 black edition esc and viper vst 17.5 motor in my new b4.1wc. Everything has been calibrated and I used the 17.5 spec w/ boost profile. I took the buggy outside and drove for a little less than a minute when the motor started losing power and cutting out. I tried recalibrating the esc and double checked the sensor wire which seems to be ok but none of that helped. Solder joints looked ok so I have no clue what's going on. HELP!!!

disable the motor over heat feature. it might be cutting power because t thinks the motor is to hot.

That's what I was going to say, lol.

Well it's not cutting out completely. It's stuttering if that makes sense and like I said before, it's losing power as well.

if it thinks it is over heating it cuts the power back..... sputtering sounds like a sensor cable or sensor board.

just thought I would let you guys know that I just got the email that the 8 speedo is in stock and I have already ordered mine and thanks Viper for allowing me to run for your team in 2013.

I'm so stupid. I forgot, the battery I was using wasn't charged so I guess it hit lvc. So luckily it was a simple fix. Don't judge me lol.

Awesome...I will have one this summer when I get an E Buggy...but I did just pick up a new VTX10R combo for my new Caster S10B Pro. Merry Christmas to me.

Ordered my VTX10 today with the 8.5t

i did looking at viper website and i look at vtx8 esc but i dont see price on there ?

anyone have a video about how to soldering a wire to vtx8 esc ?

does any one know if the vtx8 has the Current Limit like the tekin does
