I dont have the 550 version. I have the 540 4-pole version.
Whenever I get the 550 version I'll let you know. I know it's good.
550 version is the next thing im buying so it wont be too much longer.

I have decided to move to the 2wd mod buggy class so I boosted my 17.5 yesterday and it is working great! I put it in profile 4 and turned my can timing down to 30 degrees. I am running the same gearing 33/69and after 10 minutes the motor still only temped at 145.
Would anybody recommend doing something different to get a little more out of it?

I have played with it a little. I am not sure what the start and stop are in profile 4 but I like to set the start pretty low so it doesn't hit very hard. makes it feel more like a stronger motor than just boosted. but honestly I found the 10.5 in blinky to be about the same with out having to get that sweet spot in boosted.

Even the 5150kv combos? I had just spent 180 odd on that a couple of weeks ago.
