bkuff- in the last two weeks I have actually ran both of the systems that were described before. They are equally fast. Both will fit within many different configurations of batteries in the chassis.

Mike Wilder finished in the A Main last weekend at the SC Showdown, had a sniff of the lead at the start of the main. He was running a VTX10R with a 5.0L. Only thing he did was change brake strength, ran it exactly as he received it.

But you can't best the price if thatCopperhead combo..... Speed wise that are very similar.

Thanks alot fellas. I have a blown servo in the sc so I'm not ever sure if I wanna do all the work to replace the damn thing. For a cheaper system the copper head sure looks nice

Sounds good can not wait to try this out. Hopefully it can keep up with the other four poles snap wise on short to medium straights cause a 4.5 with a 13 pinion does not until you get going down a longer straight lol

Both the R45 and R52 have excellent power. I am confident you will be happily surprised when you first run it.

Anybody have experience with the Copperhead 3900kv 4 pole? I run a CC 3800 now in a Losi SCB and just run for fun on the tracks. I just want to plug and play, not have to deal with much and want enough power. I like my CC 3800, just looking at switching to Viper. I have an Anza Slash on the way I may throw the Viper in, too.

wrightcs - the 3900 will have plenty of power for anything 2wd. I was thinking about running it some in my SC10 4wd

I have a 3900 Copperhead in my XXX-SCT, and it is the speed of about a 7.5 or 8.5, with the punch of a 4.5-5.5 to be quite honest.

I have two questions.

1. I have been running a 4.5t Ballistic 550 in my SCTE. I run on a larger outdoor and small indoor track. Which Copperhead system would be closest to my 4.5t?

2. When will they be available?

Thanks

The 4500kv copperhead would be almost identical RPM, but with more torque. Where the 5150kv would be more RPM and more torque.

The orders for the Copperhead are selling faster than Viper can get them filled, but they are only running about a week behind. More deliveries are scheduled for the coming weeks.
