Try:
Accel. Timing - 3 deg
start RPM 10,000
final RPM 16,000
Top Speed Timing 10 Deg (Test for 2 minutes for temps)
Slew 8-10
You shouldn't feel the Accel Timing much, maybe about mid-throttle, but it should roll on the top speed timing smoothly like this. Don't be afraid to roll on 20 - 25 degrees or so, but you have to test and monitor temps though.

I have not tested with it because in running dirt, there is such a lack of traction any additional power is just going to make it worse. But I could see in on-road where you can take advantage of it.
I would say start gradually and test incrementally.

So geared 27 75 med size high bite my car gets REAL QUICK, and im pulling wheelies. How do I make it have more low end? stock timing on 13.5 in b4.1.
Also nikos i pmd u my # did u get it? I wanna try the setup

Why would you want more low end if you are already pulling wheelies?
Low end can be from a smaller pinion or larger spur tooth count.

becuase at the middle the boost kicks in, thats the only spot other than a turn were you can punch but the front end just blips up so idc about that, on the straight I loose good time.

Where did you pick this up from? I want to pick one up, then put it down in my 1/12

Holeshot launch is used in the beginning of a race starting off the line. It will give you an extra boost of timing only in the beginning after holding down brake. Basically the idea of launch control is to give extra energy to turn the motor against its initial magnetic state and this makes faster starts and instant power off the line.

1) Adjust slipper clutch to allow more slipage (looser)
2) Use a larger pinion...28 or 29 but make sure to check temps or else you will burn up you motor when gearing higher.
3) Adjust PWM freq in the VTX to higher value...it will give smoother throttle feel
Hope these remedies help you

When full throttle is applied the speedo cutts out. with these settings VTX10R-Profile #2, Brake strength 80%, Brake PWM freq 8000Hz, Brake curve linear, Neutral Drag brake 10%, THROTTLE PWM freq 9600Hz, Throttle punch 20%-30%, Throttle curve linear, Deadband middle, no timing - default, not motor protection, esc protection 240 degrees. After some searching I found this post of someone having the same problem any HELP!!! Quote:Originally Posted by Stealth_RT
At least your VTX10R will run your Pro4. Tried mine yesterday and when I give it full throttle, it goes a short distance and all throttle/brakes cut out until I let off and it slows down, then I can throttle again, till it cuts out. This is a brand new unit I just got back from Viper to replace my first one that quit working. Not real happy with Viper right now. I put my reliable RX8 esc in and ran fine the rest of the night.

mamc24 (& Stealth) - I wonder if you guys are pulling the BEC voltage too low. I saw serval guys (using our motors, esc, and others) - have a brief esc/receptions cut off because it was pulling too much and the receiver would go into a shut down/lock up mode until the voltage recovered for the system. You may try checking the voltage cut off on the esc - or even using additional capacitors plugged into the receiver to help make sure the voltage is up. Just some late night thougts.
Nitro- sorry, I don't have experience to help point you in the right direction.
