Hi all got a problem with my vtx10r esc
Last nite I was getting my sc10 ready for a short course event put the vtx10r in with a 10.5 ballistic motor it turned on and calibrated it then I turned it off went to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on and the esc started getting warm never had a problem before have ran it in 4 different cars it's only 5 months old
Can someone help me with this problem

I had a friend of mine buy the 4.5 550 and the VTX10R for his losi 4wd sc truck. He said it runs hot. 180/190 He has a 13t pinion on it. Anyone run this truck and esc combo that can help me with setup?

Drop a tooth on the pinion , no timing in esc . 80 punch. . I run 165

I would verify you don't have a shorted motor or other issue. If it was working properly and you just moved it from one vehicle to another, it should be fine.

The video was of the calibration method used prior than the A30 firmware that came out in December for all of the VTX series esc's. The calibration method is different from the A19 and older firmware.

I had the same exact thing happen to me with a brand new system...the esc never got warm, but was only turned on once and it made the normal beeps...went to grab my radio to start the calibration and the esc was off....now no matter what i do, i cant get it to turn on....i sent it back to viper....we will see what they say.... Its not my first viper system or rodeo for that matter...so i know i didnt mess anytging up

Getting ready to order a new esc. Whats the difference between the vtx10 and vtx1?

vtx1 is a 1s esc and the vtx10 is a 2s esc

Viper website says vtx1 is 1-2s. Other than that are they the same?
