I was wondering if maybe you guys had some advice or maybe simular issues? Or do I need to send it in to Viper to get taken care of? Thanks in advacne guys.

With the speed controle on are you pressing and holding the power button for 1 second. Then the orange and red lights will light up solid. Then you link the pro-gauge.

If you make changes be sure to save them and then press the power button for another second to return to run mode.

I got a new 17.5 VST, its about three weeks old and got to use it for the first time tonight. All through practice it ran great, then qualifying rolls around and there was no go. I did a quick run down the straight, and all was good. Get to work on a couple warm up laps and I could hear it cogging off the line. So I check the sensor wire, it's fine, blip the throttle all is good again, put it down drive to the end of the straight very little power and really slow. I changed the sensor wire, still does it. I'm running a TLR 22, Tekin RS pro, Promatch 60c 4000mah packs. I ended up putting my Orion 13.5 back in and all was well. Any ideas on what went wrong?

Sounds like a possible loose wire to the motor. When you hold it the car is still and when you drive it the wires wiggle around. When you soldered up the 13.5 did you notice a possible loose wire?

Checked that too, all the wires were good and tight.

Default NICE

nice ride rob and nice on the win for mod.

Today I will try to run my 13.5 and attempt to make it run hotter geared 27 75 with stock timing it is just as fast as the novak but more bottem end torque with better breaks and it comes off 30 degrees coolor!

I would like to try to get it with a tad more top end so I get the full use of the viper. 30 75? ALSO what is the recommended heat after a main 6min. 150 i gues..

Guy - PM me with your email or cell number. I have a set up you can try. It's the one I ran when I was with you that Friday nite. And I was only using a 17.5 so the 13.5 will pull some good top end with it.

I got to play with a Viper system today in a friends truck
He was unable to solder the wires in. So he brought it over for me to.

I gotta say I like it.

The ESC looks very clean. I like the look of the motor and the timing marks.

Get it up and running and man that thing is smooth. played with profile 1 than went to profile 3. You can heat the boost kick in. was cool to hear.
Than played with boost start and end time. That 13.5T makes that SC10 FT kit fly down the street.

Gearing was 20/84 outside temp was about 60 after 2 mins ESC was 78deg Motor was 85 ish. Will know better temp results wed night for it's 1st race at a track we do to.

Only thing I wish was in the manual. Unless I missed it was all the feature on the progauge and how to use them or how they are used.
PPM, RPM. etc etc

I will be ordering a few of these for all my trucks and buggies.
