For the guy asking if the tekin pro 4 can handle it with the viper esc. the answer is no tekin has so much power it will blow the viper through the roof
Just ran with a guy today with a 4600 Pro 4 and a Viper vtx10r. Ran fine.

All I can say is, Viper is the best rc solution for me! Love it! My son has ran the vtx10 and vst13.5 in his Kyosho Sc-r and now his b.4. So much to play with setting and power wise. Still haven't updated it to new firmware, and we learn more every race. The power is definitely there to compete with many manufacturers lower turned motors. Can't say enough about this system. We, as proud Viper users, need to show all racers what Viper has to offer. There is a wide range of tunability in these systems.

How smooth is the Copperhead system?

Smoother than the ordinary sensorless system?

How does it compare to, say.. a vtx10r and a viper 550?

Hi, Looking for an ESC for my B44.1 and considering bucking the trend and getting a viper. Motor will be a Novak Ballistic 6.5. Curious as to what the difference is between the VTX10 and VTX10r?

the vtx10r has no motor limit were the vxt10 has a motor limit, to run a 6.5 you will need a vtx10r

Correction, you can run a 6.5 on the VTX10. to run any hotter which would be a 5.5 you need the VTX10R. A local guy has been running a 6.5 on his for the last summer. Plus they sell the VTX10 combos with 6.5's.

go viper man im telling you!! so tunable, very very simple, clean and really professional looks and setup, runs cool as hell with boost.

- it blew away my sxx as far as boost and speed, reaction and sensitiveness is the same. WHICH is a VERY GOOD THING. but than you look at prices and ease of use... viper is it. i still do not know what throttle frequency is lol.

Hopefully someone can help me here. First off let me say I am new to this electric stuff. I am trying to pair my rx and esc together. Instructions say hold the red button for 3 seconds then it will beep and the other lights will flash. When I hold the red button down the light just stays solid red. Am I missing something here.
