As far as value, perfomamce, and ease of use there is no comparison. I have been out of 1/10th for about 4 years running nitro 1/8th only and all this new tech seemes daunting to say the least and if i had went with another brand i dont think i would have had the success right off the bat like i did and the ease use With this system is light years ahead of the other companies.

WOW, ran the viper in mine b4.1, SO SO SO DAILED. at first i did not like the stock settings for boost 13.5( it made it feel like an 8.5)!!! but a little punchy so i tuned and it took 2 times of running and going back quick to pop in the programmer and really fine tune..
I got 3rd in the amain 13.5 boost.

My goal is to run mod...
I will run the viper 8.5 soon in mod but I want to get the layout down first.
REALLY good product you guys are great keep going!

SoCal and Guy - Thanks -- tell your friends...
Bobby - this is our first production upgrade- the basics are added braking features and a new binding process to help with some random binding issues we seen reported. Some of the team drivers have been testing it for us. It will be submitted to ROAR for approval. When approved I will be public available.

So I have been thinking of going Viper for a little while. I would like some input if possible.
My 3 top choices are LRP, Viper and Tekin. In that order
LRP Seems very well. I know a few people running them and they have not had one problem with them. Plus it's blue, I like blue. LOL
Viper Cost a little less than LRP comes with the programer. I hear A LOT of good things about. I have talked to Trey at Viper. Real cool guy. Sounds like top notch Customer service
Tekin. I do not like the fact that to really use the system I have to have a hotwire. I have a castle now and it sucks taking my laptop around to the tracks to fix or tune anything.
Setup will be mainly going into a SC10 2wd To be Pro lite legal with a 13.5T motor. If the system works well Will get another for my B4.1 Buggy and maybe my SC104x4 (The castle in it is strong though)
Costis within 14-20 bucks of each..
any input would be great., thanks

all three are good choices. but with wanting simplicity viper or speedpassion would be the way to go. the tekins do need to be connected to a computer to get the most out of. i currently run tekin in my scte but am changing it over to the new copperhead system to get away from having to take the laptop with me all the time.
