Had 2 of the v10r go wrong now, servo goes on off on the lap then both shut down been told that there is a fault with them on savox and other servos but dont know which only had them in october got them for the start of the season as race micros during winter.Last week one went just going to send it back for a replacment then today the other did exactly what the other did.
Had to buy another esc after driving 140 mile round trip should not be having to buy another i did really like these but reliability is not there.Asked another racer who had 3 importer gave them a different brand now importer last week is not going to stock them as it seems they have had a few returns.
If this is a problem with them as it seems there is viper should sort it out

So I switched to a 3s 11.1 lipo battery today and my vx4.39 combo keeps breaking up/stumbling. I'm running profile 2 and have tried several different pinions 28, 25, and 19 I have a 83 spur and no change. I've recalibrated the the controller and still no luck. Does anyone know what the best gearing for on road high speed runs is? I'm still trying to convince my buddy the vs4.39 is better than his traxxas velineon system. This is being used in my traxxas rustler

Our local 8th track got rained out so I ran at ACR in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on their indoor track. It is sprayed with VHT and pretty high bite. I ran 4wd and 2wd open buggy. I am running a 22 and a FS2. In the 22 I ran a vtx10 with a viper 9.5 no boost and in the fs2 a vtx10 with a viper 8.5. Both ran great. I qualified 4th in 2wd and blew out while battling for 2nd and finished just on the heels of 3rd, in 4th. In 4wd I qualified 3rd and ran 3rd.
I have a few weeks off to help get our local track ready for RC Pro, then it is back to e8th buggy and truggy.

Some servos that have bad gear meshing will create lots of friction, glitch busters are like a band-aid to stop the bleeding but using a good quality servo would fix the problem completely. You can also try raising the BEC to 6.5 Volts with the proguage programmer

I will try messing with the BEC settings too.

84 GT- try turning up the brake strength on the speed control, but then lower the brake EPA on your radio to avoid the lock up. Its a personal feel. Some people leave strength at 100 and lower EPA a lot. Others lower speed control and adjust EPA a little. Off the top of my head I think my brake strength is at 80 and my EPA is like 98
