Took a dissapointing third in 2wd sct this past saterday. The Viper powered TLR XXX-SCT was dialed. In the A main with two minute to go I was swapping positions with the leader and my voltage cap came unstuck causing my power hungry savox servo to drain the speedo if it pulled to much load. So I needed to back off to avoid this.

Trying to program with Progauge...push and hold red button for 1 second with progauge connected and get nothing. If I hold longer than 1 it goes into calibration. Now when truck is turned on it experiences runaways. Did calibrate
What am I missing? Have to be doing something wrong. |

Have you called Viper tech support? Quite often you get better results talking to someone instead of trying to use the forum to troubleshoot
Question I beep test the motor with a tester conductivity when I test the A/B/C on the motor all beep and there like touching like there's bridge.. example if I put the tester pin on "A" and put the other tester pin on "C" it beeps..it does it for all ABC..A/B beeps C/B ect..beeps this is normal? I didn't melt the solder inside the motor were they probably touching each other..I don't want to open the motor up might break it or something. Thanks :)* |

When you calibrate turn on your radio first. Now with the speedo off press and hold the on button for three seconds. You will here two beeps. Then hold the throttle and you will hear a beep. Then press and hold break, it will beep one more time and then go to the run mode.

Go to the menu. Scroll down to reset. The scroll down to parameter reset. Then you will see a bunch of line gauges, turn your wheel full left then full right. Then brake full then throttle full. Then scroll down to the save button and click it. And your done.
Now proceed to rebind the VTX10 Now It don't get stuck on orange light after I hit forward it cycles and goes to back to normal. Green neutral red power S green..but when give it power the lights responds to forward/reverse input but the motor won't turn :( Thanks :) |
is your throttle channel set to reverse or normal? try setting it to the other option from what it is currently then rebind.
