I can help you, can you answer these questions first.

1) When did you buy the esc and does it have the new A30 firmware?
2) Is your radio EPA at or above 100% for throttle? If not please set all the EPA on your radio to 100% and this is more critical for you since your using the older FM radio.

Just out of curiosity, if you calibrate at 100 on a 140 or spectrum 150 radio, wouldn't you have full throttle calibrated at 100? In other words what would happen between 100 and 140. Seems like thes esc endpoint would
be at 100.

what setups are u guys running for 7.5/8.5's in a 2wd. Curious to see what guys are running out there in 2wd. thankss

Also im having a hard time understanding the throtte pwm?? For 2wd running 7.5 and 8.5's i like the throttle to be smooth as possible. From reading the instructions it says raising it will also generate more heat and increase rpm. Im not looking to increase rpm as a 7.5 or 8.5 has plenty of rpm. Just trying to get a handle on how pwm affects smoothness etc. What are most of u guys running with a 7.5./8.5 range? Thanks

Just got my vtx10 10.5 I followed the Set up calibration..but my motor work turn on..I hear a beep and my servo is working..have 100% On throttle trim on my DX3R..I didn't upgrade the firmware don't have the cable yet and my 2S battery is full charge and new batt on control..when I give it throttle I see the F light red and neutral Green revers orange but revers is not activated yet or don't use it..is something wrong with my ESC or motor? All wire are right ABC and sensor wire plug in..

How do I fix? Got a broken?

Thanks

Tried it and didn't work..I had it working before but when I put the wires back together just the motor wont turn..tried rebinding/new model/new profile on pro gauge.triple checked all wiring connections  I still get the problem..no motor turning just the red light lights up when forward throttle and orange light on revers but no turning on revers I assume it's stock set up like that.. I wanted to run practice at the track tomorrow but this is bugging me out:weird::confused:

Running Viper VTX10R esc, and Viper 8.5 and 17.5 at this weekends Toys For Tots race at Palm Desert RC Raceway and they didn't miss a beat!

Placed 3rd in 17.5 2wd SC ...Not the official picture from the track crew so 1st place wasn't paying attention lol

And also 3rd in Unlimited 2wd SC. My hats off to Tanner and his 1st place finish. This kid is unbelievable. In his truggy race he was about 10 seconds behind Cody King for the first 15 minutes of the A-Main!!! Unfortunately he broke when someone hit him in the air on the huge triple.

ohhwee - check the sensor wires have a good connection (both motor and speedo) - if the lights are showing forward, brake and neutral, its trying to send the power to the motor. If you have a different sensor wire try that.

SoCal - congrats!!!

Viper/TLR driver Toddie Anderson rocked the Maxximus RC Back in Black event. Toddie was TQ and winner of 17.5 SC class and came from 4th to win the 2wd modified class!! - I guess my little pep talk during qualifying helped

Don't have extra sensor wire checked the sensor wire it's good and plug in sung..I did cut the 3 ABC wire to motor/Esc a bit shorter because it was too long..cutting the motor wire bit shorter don't affect it right?

Also when I soldered the wires I don't have any solder bridging or touching each other everything is shrink tube..

Also this is my first sensor esc/motor I have a mmp with castle motor..will sensor motor/esc still turn without sensor wire plug to motor?

Thanks..
