The VTX10R is sensored the Copperhead is sensorless and comes with a fan installed. It's different but still uses a lot of the VTX technology plus it's not much larger.

Everyone is still scratching their heads on your caps blowing off, we have not been able to emulate that on any test they preform. The VX4 will have to handle the 550's since it will be paired with a 4 pole 5200kv motor.

1/10th ESC's in heavy 4wd SC's like the Losi take it's toll on almost any 1/10th ESC on the market. Most suggest not running 1/10th ESC's with 4wd's period and suggest using 1/8th scale ESC's. Until we get the VX8 on the market the VTX10R will run the 550's. We are developing a fan kit and BEC stabilizer for the VTX10R's for less worry when running in the 4wd SC's.

The VTX10R has almost twice the FETs as the RX8 but the smaller footprint dissipates heat much different due to the smaller size. IMO nothing on the market is as good as the VTX10 and VTX10R's.

Lol, I love the esc its just i keep blowing them up or the caps blew up or something. Like I went to the losi to the durango and didnt blow anything up just the esc kept shutting down after like 3min in a batt and people were saying its the bec overloading and wasnt sure till you guys said that. Is it possible that when its in the losi and the bec overloads that it blows up the caps or even esc? In the dingo i didnt blow any esc, it would just shut down but in the losi it would have to go to viper lol.

speaking of that, i still have to send in my 2 vipers that need to get replaced lol

You sure about that? How many fets are in the unit?

48 FETs in the VTX10R's.

He never came back and let everyone know how many FETS are in the RX8, I must have been right. :sneaky:

Perhaps I made a mistake assuming you were a Viper employee or team driver. You say 'we' a lot in your posts referencing Viper.

Regardless you are wrong, apparently guessing  , and posting as fact. Obviously I would not be here if I did not know
that for sure, I do not guess....:sneaky:

I am a Viper employee. My comment about the RX8 was comparing a 1/10th ESC against a 1/8th scale ESC in terms of foot print, FET's and heat dispersion. I was not saying the RX8 is bad, I just said it has almost double the FETs which is true.
