new to on road i orderd a new xray t3 2011 spec with viper 17.5 and tekins rs could you tell me what would be a good pinion gear to start off with the kit comes with 84t 48p spur gear i will be runing on med size carpet track also what would be a good starting point for good size out door aspalt track just looking for a good starting point spur and pinion thans for the help

Anyone got pictures of the Viper VTX10R installed in a Durango DEX410? Am curious to see how people have done the wiring...

Edit: Also, am no expert on soldering, but do you have to solder the wires straight up on the solder post? Or can you solder the wires on horizontally as well?

Here is my A main open sc video. You can see I'm sitting on the pole position but i get taken out at the 3rd corner but quickly start gaining ground again and then i broke. My viper 10.5 motor and esc is running GREAT.

still hasnt learned how to not ruff drive yet? he maybe fast, but he wont get far when he drives like that.

But about the soldering posts, i guess most people solder the wires so the point straight upwards along the solder post? But you could solder the wires on horizontally as well?

I can try to see if he will send a pic of his esc in his truck. I think he is still in europe though.

Hi guys I've been reading and just need to clear up something before i buy ..can I ajusted boost / timing using the vtx10 combo with 10.5t motor or do I need 13.5 ? I'm comparing this to TEKIN rs but I'm liking the bec better on viper.also how does the motor run can they hang with the d3 duo
