i disable the motor temp cut off.. if you gear right, out side can temps should be in the 130-155 range.. that is typicaly where i try to keep my motor temps

also if you gear right the motor should not get any hotter no matter the run time.

No issue, only asked if it would work.

Motors are almost finished, but speedo's havent hit the states for prototyping and testing... looking a few more weeks before testing begins. Should go pretty smoothly considering the 10th scales have gone over so well.

Gearing: 20T
I just set my motor cut off to 230. I had it at 200 and it shut down on me at 150/160

FYI - if you check out the Facebook page - there are some shots of the factory engineers testing in Thailand in 100* heat. If they can make it there, they can make it anywhere!!!!!!

You mean the gas nats at thunder alley? Nope, thats for all them gas racers, haha. I havent run gas in a while, got tired of all the headaches from the smell of nitro.

Been playing with some of the settings on the esc and motor and wow i woke this thing up. That drive pwn freq really makes a big difference, just a note for all, make sure you adjust it in small increments and watch the temps.

Please remember as well that when you are measuring 156 on the outside, the internal temp can be higher - that is what the VTX is looking at.

Is there a way to reset the esc? When i first got my 10r it ran awesome, running a tekin 4.5 in my ae 4x4. Well then i started to change some settings and now i cant even do a 5min main and the motor is about 110-130 and esc is around 100-130.

By chance can it be the battery cutoff? Because i messed with that and tried to get some help and couldnt figure it out

the lowest my battery voltage cutoff goes to, is 4.6. It wont go any lower, but the thing that confuses me, is when i first ran it, it was the stock settings which worked great, but then when i did a couple changes and ran it would stop about 3:30 - 4min into my race. Im running the xcelorin 6000mah 60c batts

i think they cut off is for a total voltage i would go to 6.2v and see if that helps.

what lights show on the esc switch after it stops working?

red and orange solid?
